James, nausea follows through on coasters. That means that if there's a particularly nauseating section of track, the guests sickness goes away gradually throughout the ride, not instantly. Also, more nausea = more fear + MUCH less excitement. Hope that makes some sense.
@night86367 жыл бұрын
Also, here are a few new theme ideas: 1. Pirate 2. Crystal Caverns 3. Beach 4. Fairytale 5. Sci Fi 6. Alien Invasion 7. Christmas/Winter 8. Horror 9. Volcano (land) 10. Kids Only Playpark I hope you see this and consider putting some of these ideas into your park, Flabaliki :) Plz like this so he can see!! :DD

You second-guessed yourself too often in building that coaster. You can smooth out the scary bits after, a small change like that can fix a lot of problems. Put a lot of twists in, don't play it too safe.
@FirelyGrim7 жыл бұрын
Also, idk if you're doing sections or anything but you kinda did with the western/ frontier area but I think a fake beach area would be really cool! Make an "ocean" area and some sand around the edges of it and maybe build up a pier and put the ferris wheel flat ride at the end of it and then build a junior coaster or the wooden coaster in the area as well. Maybe even use some of the pirate theme stuff for the shops in buildings, kinda like you did in the scenario lets play you did

Here's a little tip about roller coaster building. In order to get good excitement ratings, focus on air time. Air time is when the coaster goes over a hill resulting in the riders being lifted out of there seats and getting that stomach churning feeling that people who like roller-coasters love. But if you do it too much they will get nauseous so watch out. In order to keep fear down, light up tunnels and avoid quick loops, turns, slopes, etc. And to keep nausea down, avoid going upside down much, no sharp turns, and bank as much as you can without being excessive.
@fishtitan71357 жыл бұрын
Buddy well airtime is really negative vertical g's
@SamuelHiti7 жыл бұрын
I do not like this coaster, but for the sake of the challenge you've done an amazing job!! Hopefully next time you will make a coaster where you let your own creativity flow regardless of ratings, because I like the way you just build a coaster and see how it ends up at the end 😊

A Tipp for coaster building: Don't spam click the smoothing tool, because it completely changes your layout. Use one or 2 clicks, most of the time it will do enough! Also smoothing smaller section, like only one piece, at a time often gives you better results. That us especially true for banking, because smoothing banking, wants to remove all banking what so ever! So click on the piece where you change from banked to flat and smooth the banking only there so you have a smooth transition. Also silverrets tutorials for coasterbuilding are amazing! I hope that helps :)

I always thought of Planet Coaster and the Rollercoaster Tycoon series to be completely separate, but then the way James was talking about the Giga coaster and how to pronounce it, he made it sound like the same people that made RT3 also made Planet Coaster. Turns out it actually is; they're both by Frontier Developments, and that makes so much sense
@BlondLoki7 жыл бұрын
your builds are really cool (especially the mine train!) but i've noticed that you mostly only turn your coaster one way, to the left, instead of alternating the turns. I know that the mine train and the giga coaster are exceptions to this but I think in general it could really improve your builds if you change the turns up a bit more when you build :)
@arkurianstormblade41097 жыл бұрын
oh also maybe they changed it, but back in RCT3, you could make almost ANY coaster into a launch coaster! launch wooden coasters are a little wonky I suppose. chain lift straight+speed booster. though maybe the speed boosters here arent as strong.

you should name the coaster the surfer or the wave rider because of all the ups and downs, which reminds waves. you could add water and at the end of every drop make a splash effect. love this series!

by the entrance you should have more family/kid-rides section (to the left in the park) since most of your more extreme rides/coasters are on the right/to the back. Maybe make the kiddie rides pirate or fairytale themed. Also the new coaster could be part of a sci-fi/futuristic theme so it transitions nicely from frontier land to "tomorrow land".

If there is ever another mountain range, could you do a coaster that has a lift that spans the entire range and after that just weaves in and out of the mountain, possibly give it a spooky demonesque theme that'd be cool. Also can you work on the parks lighting so we can see it lit up at night every now and then. Anyways excellent series keep up the immaculate work and details!

Giga coasters are coasters over 300 feet tall usually carried by cable lift hill. Hyper Coasters are coasters over 200 feet usually by chain lift. strata coasters are over 400 feet the only 2 in this world (ttd at cedar point and kingda ka at sfga) use hydraulic launch.

Instead of making it exactly the same as the other coaster by just doing the terrain and trees & rocks, could you theme it so it's spooky? Like, put a hill in the middle with a haunted house, and use fog effects and stuff. Would be cool to see something a little different. Plus this could either be one ride that is themed or make a knew area like the frontier land, but spooky ☺️
@JakeHall7446 жыл бұрын
When making a coaster, use higher hills after the initial lift. The coaster has too much speed for those small hills. I go for realism when I make my coasters. So I make sure the coasters have more compact layouts, and use all of the speed until the coaster begins to slow.
