as a swiss person this idea of fondue as *the* posh food is so funny (I guess it helps that here you have a much higher chance of being able to borrow a fondue set off family or a mate, bc that is the only costly bit, the rest is just cheese, bread, white wine pepper and garlic which are all available at very wide price levels, but starting v cheaply)

Played this last week over Skype. It went from “This sucks, this is too complicated” to “Okay, one more you bastards!” In 10 min. Ended up playing this for 2 hours

There was a wonderfully quirky New Zealand series The Almighty Johnson's about Norse gods trapped in mortal form, and Loki in that was a petty, evil little scumbag... so of course he was a lawyer! Probably my favourite Loki

It's not about what his actual 2nd favorite film is it's about the kind of person you've been learning Oli is this whole time. I think that was a great clue using one of the only things he knows they have a reference for. They've been calling Oli hipster this whole time so based on that you go niche.

Adam, you can't gerrymander the Senate. Every state gets two Senators. You're thinking of the House of Representatives. Minor point but as someone who has studied the US that whole conversation set me on edge so much, haha. I have really been enjoying the Board Game Club videos, by the way. I very easily remember my favorite teacher at school. He was the only teacher who understood I needed a different approach to studying and accommodated my autism before I really knew I had it. He was really sweet and funny and more of a parental figure to me within the confines of school so I remember him really fondly whenever I think about other adults who aren't as empathic as he was

there's no "hate". just corrections about their factually incorrect knowledge about another country's political systems. senators don't partake in gerrymandering or electoral colleges. they literally just win by popular vote from the population of an entire state.

To be honest your most likely right. For one was the US Senate of how they are elected or their function part of the clue. How they are elected is closer to a pure democracy but their function is to represent their states. They are only part of the government that is a federal republic which is not a pure democracy. It would wildly rank any where between middle right to middle.
