Peggy Holds a degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from Brigham Young University. As a mother to four sons, Peggy spends her time divided between teaching and creating new patterns for Silhouette Patterns, a line of contemporary patterns available to the home sewer. During her career she has taught college courses in pattern drafting and design. She professionally drafts patterns for individuals and manufacturers all across the country ranging from golf apparel to black tie performances. In addition to apparel designs, Peggy has designed the patterns of the costumes worn by the Mens Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Elvis Stojko.

Ever since you did the video about fabric pattern matching I have wished you would incorporate that more somehow and this is it! That video was so informative and I just wanted more. I am loving THIS series (Let's Sew) better than most of your shows, specifically the live recording that wastes a lot of time and goes all over the place, unless you're one of the callers or online chatters asking questions. I don't think you should post the live Q&A but just highlight the points made in them instead. Thanks for all you do!

Love the new format please keep them coming!!!!!! This video looks sooooo much clearer or should I say has a much sharper image. The lighting is awesome! It is so much easier to see the details! Thank you so much for all your hard work and all that you teach us. I'm 32 and have 4 kidos and your videos have made me LOVE sewing again! I love this new format. You make me want to run to my sewing room and make one of those shirts or modify other patterns. And, we can finally SEE you and what you're doing. Peggy, this is FABULOUS!!!!! The video was very clear, not fuzzy at all. LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of copying ready to wear, i.e., recognizing the pattern and choosing the fabric. Love that you used a Raglan sleeve instead of an inset sleeve like the Elie Tahari example, and still achieved the same look! Very Nice.

Absolutely great! I just ordered the pattern after watching. I've been wanting to get this pattern and it prompted me to do so. I have sewn the asymmetrical top and the cape from the fall patterns....and love them both! I also just completed a top with Jene's dress pattern!

Hi, Peggy, love the new format. It really helps to see the process, not just hear you talk about it. Also love the time-frame; I can find 10 minutes to watch more often than I can find a whole hour at once. Also easier to find the topic I need to review than the 1 hour videos. i'm a fan. every point of each show... of course this format is less abrieviated than pbs show, so i enjoyed it greatly. I would love to ask questions, that is, dialogue.

Love the fact that you do most of your knits on the sewing machine what stitch length and needle do you use so that it doesn’t pucker or have skipped stitches. Thanks in advance Linda

Love this new idea format! I have sewed about 20 t-shirts this summer and certainly love variations. Often, once my fabric is cut, I have enough for another t-shirt. I'm not going to waste good fabric! So different ideas are always welcome. A question: Will an iron-on applique work on stretchy fabric?
