After living in New York City for years, come along with me this week as I show you some of my absolute favorite places to go to while I'm visiting. This video is full of shopping (I made a couple of fun luxury purchases at Dior and Celine), great eating (including the best sushi I've ever had in my entire life, along with my favorite ramen spot of all time), and lots of amazing cocktails in between. There's a little something for everyone (except for those looking for all the touristy things to do - we didn't do any of those things, on purpose) and I can't wait for you guys to see New York City from my point-of-view. You certainly enjoy life! Thank you for taking us with you. I live a little over 4 hours from NYC in upstate NY but never go there. The city that I love, in the way you love NYC , is Chicago. I lived there for many years and it really is a special place for me. You are a truly adventurous foodie! Thank you again for sharing. It was plain to see you had a great time. I hope we get to see a video with all of your purchases. And the plans for your perfume cabinet!!!😁

Oh yes - next week you will get to see everything I purchased and me transitioning the cabinet in my closet into my perfume library! 😆 I do love Chicago as well, but haven’t spent nearly enough time there to say if I like it better than New York. While we were upstate visiting my other sister (she lives in Narrowsburg, about 2 hours from the city) I felt how amazing would it be to live there and have such close access to the city. I’m trying to get Mark on board. 😆

Thank you for showing a part of NYC that wasn’t super touristy and was more from a local perspective. I have been curious about Le Labo. Which scents did you like mostly? I will say it again…your cinematography is impeccable! Music, editing, everything. I felt like I was there with you. I’ll have to check out that podcast. I’m currently listening to Why can’t we talk about Amanda’s mom.

Oooo I’m going to have to check that one out too!! I love Le Labo! My favorites are Santal 33, The Noir, and Rose 31. They all have very different scent notes, but they are my favorites by far. Thank you so much for your compliment about the cinematography - knowing that you notice those things makes me the happiest!!! It’s what I love most about creating videos - making them come to life! 😆

NYC is a beast - but it’s amazing how quiet and neighborhood-y it can be. It’s definitely not for everyone - that’s for sure. But I do love it so! 🥰

I love NewYork City also. In Hudson New York there use be best vintage signed jewelry.Always wanted to go. Hudson Babylon was it’s name. You had a great trip it was fun to watch , you are so cute

I definitely need to get out more. LOL Just finished watching your video and I can not believe that Grand Banks is directly across the street from my job and had no clue that it was there. Mind you I often sit by the water on my break, what's wrong with that picture. I'm also going to try ROKC Raman. Thanks Jessica!!

Hahaha!!! Ummmm....yes, you MUST go to Grand Banks once it opens this spring. I just love it there, and when I lived in NYC, would go all of the time. And now every time I visit, it's always a must go-to. And ROKC - oh my goodness - you will not regret making the trip it. It's soooo good and I judge all ramens against that one......and nothing ever compares!

The best way to really enjoy NY is to stay far away from all the touristy stuff - as long as you’ve never seen them. There are so many other fabulous, quieter, more special things to do outside of midtown! And you are more than welcome to come along!!! 😆

We really did!!! I love New York so much. It’s crazy and amazing at the same time. I’m so lucky to have my sisters there because that means I can go visit whenever I want to and don’t have to worry about paying for a hotel! 😆 So glad you enjoyed following us around!

Awwww I love this question! I really started to fully embrace living my best life after my aunt passed away. I talk about this a lot in my very first video and it was the pivot moment in my life that changed everything. She was waiting to live her life until after she retired. Unfortunately 2 weeks after her retirement, she passed away. So that got me thinking, I have to live life now - because you just never know when your time is up. So I do alllllll the things I want to do right now….before it’s too late! 💕

I have always heard that life is a blink of an eye, but despite knowing that I have lived like there will always be another tomorrow. I am grateful for the reminder that life is a gift to be well lived and for seeing the action you put forth in your life to embody that.
