Hi everyone, I want to clarify why I am uploading these videos again. I am not trying to show the greatness of Kim Jong-un, rather I am trying to show how vigorously the oppression and brainwashing is ingrained in every party of North Korean society. Furthermore, what happens when the individuals lose their liberty to a state. People in North Korea are not allowed to sing about love, life or anything other than the Kim dictator and the communist party. And here is the evidence of brainwashing in North Korea to those people who worships communism.

You are doing an incredible job Y. These are talented musicians who have worked hard for years to learn their instrument, and the dancing is incredibly well synchronised. It is natural for artistic people to sing from their soul, yet their real song is held hostage somewhere. I only hope that they can still hear their own song inside, and that hasnt also been taken away.

These poor people. They’re so talented. I hate thinking that people have such hatred towards all North Koreans when it’s not the citizens fault. I’m sure that without the brainwashing, most of them are very very very nice people. Heck, as an American, I’d love to befriend a North Korean. As nice as that sounds, it may never happen. @3th4nP31ff3r

@@oxygenpom1606 Hatred comes from the fact that North Koreans are told that every country but China and Russia are enemies. Although I know it’s not the NK people’s fault. It doesn’t feel good knowing that people are brainwashed into hating you for no reason. Which brings be back to my point. People here in America especially don’t like North Koreans because we never think about the fact that they can’t control what they’re being told. We skip the fact that they are brainwashed and don’t think about what it’s like to be them.

Maybe it's about how soy depletes the soil of essential nutrients, and how to grow food that as well, imparts nutrients into the soil. And how using human faeces as fertiliser is giving them worms, that takes the majority of nutrients from any little bit of food that they're eating. How animal and human shit is unnecessary for growing food. My Indian grandma made her own out of food scraps. now i know that NK people most definitely don't have food scraps, but the point is the right minerals, and those could be found in greenery, and potentially fermented stuff, etc. So, yeah, they could study to benefit themselves. They could all be growing their own food in their gardens, etc, if everyone was doing it as well, then perhaps there would be less theft. potatoes, are a very easy food to grow, they regrow from their own peelings. So if they could get some seed potatoes to start with, then they could regrow and regrow forever, and everyone would have loads of potatoes to eat all the time.

Yes, messed up in a big sense. But in a small sense, how messed up is your logic? I mean feeding the population takes a LOT of money, but putting on a show takes a comparatively tiny amount of money. If they took the money that this show cost and spent it on food, it would only buy everyone a single cookie, basically. (Not a perfectly to scale answer but it illustrates the point I'm making.)

It's for the rich in Pyongyang and few other places. The rich too need propaganda, maybe more than the poor: they're busy surviving while those with some time at their disposal can get more brainwashing. Actually, if they have an impression the country is doing well to the point they enjoy the luxury of a TV show, they'll be even more loyal to the regime since it would assure them this kind of "privilege" and other things. Remember they only have one channel to watch though.

Yeah i was thinking the same. It is interesting to notice that music in western countries is male dominated (you see a female singer and all the other band members are males) and so on. Here the performers are exclusively ladies. One could think that NK is less sexist than western countries... but thats not true. The performers are there solely because of their beauty (apart from their talent). They are sexualised beings. I am wondering if the composers of the lyrics and music track are also stunning women.

I can't help but think what kind of abuse all these ladies went through to put on this performance. Like if someone played a sour note or missed a dance step or whatever, would they be called traitors?

My first reaction to listening to this was that it didn't seem like a bad message. A bit odd, not something people would usually sing about, but not necessarily a bad thing to promote. Then I started to appreciate that they likely to not have any choice in what they were singing about and they were just ordered to create this. Which does definitely make it a more eerie. I hope all of your people find Freedom one day

Biased and extremely prejudiced the initial comment has nothing to do with this song. No Kims are mentioned. The audience are school graduates who have succefully passed their exams. "Let's study. In knwoledge lies all power and strength" is mentioned in the lyrics. In this message a lack of freedom can be detected since there is no mention of "sex and drugs and rock and roll"...

It's a shame because those girls (and the composers) clearly have talent. I can't tell if they are smiling because they are genuinely enjoying themselves or if they being threatened to do so. I just wish there was to tell them "Hey, the world saw your performance and we liked it."

This is why the country would never change: Those in power are surrounded and entertained daily, or at least regularly, by these beautiful women, while the masses are too hungry and fatigued to rise up against them.
