As you can see, every single song in North Korea is a worship song for Kim dictatorship. Other Western songs are banned and people get jailed for listening to them.

@whimpypatrol5503
@whimpypatrol5503 5 ай бұрын
In my assessment of NK, these ladies are not the ones impacted. They have careers and little doubt are well taken care off. Like many professional entertainers and working Joe's in the free world, they have to serve the tastes of customers and managers. It's the other millions of NK people who must put up with government policies and unfriendly living conditions. And coming to a Western confederacy near you is a dictatorship who will seize control of all its governments and stealthily utilize the power of electronic intelligence to police and entangle every living person to follow upside-down new-ageism in the deception of world peace. In reality, there will be no world peace. The racist and political ideology of eastern communist countries won't vanish nor will western ideology. The evil inside of every human from birth still alive will be harvested like millions of little putins. Technology will be converted to weapons yet unimagined. Billions will die. You no longer need to be a Bible thumper or Jesus freak doomsdayist to see what in plain sight is coming. But you do need to admit peace is not in the scope of technology and human possibility and recieve Jesus as your own personal Savior. What is coming is way worse than WWII.

Hello Yeonmi I’m a huge admirer from Japan 🇯🇵. As a Japanese it pains so much to witness this brainwashing from the bottom of my heart because this is similar to what we had here in Japan during the WW2. The only difference is the economic system, Japanese citizens had the freedom to pursue economic interests. Freeing North Korea (and the unification of Korea) and freeing our fellow Japanese kidnap victims is something I wish would happen soon in the near future and I hope to play a small part by supporting your activities. Take care and keep up the great work!

Never forget East Asian countries, whatever their political leaning, have that obsession with practice and perfection. Attributing this trait to the North Korean regime would be reducing their efforts to not a lot. They probably practice extensively everyday and at this point, doing it in front of a live audience is like a routine to them. As for their standing in society, they most probably come from elite Pyongyang families with perfect political background, so they probably have a decent quality of life. They wouldn't allow country bumpkins into these exclusive circles. That said, their schedule must be extremely busy and if their life is regimented like any other pop artist in East Asia (South Korea, Japan, etc.), I'd say it's probably exhausting and taxing. When I think Moranbong band, I think Japanese idols of the late 70s and early 1980s who lived in dorms, under strenous conditions while putting a smile and pretending to live a jet-set life style. Hard to tell. I would be reality curious to see how Moranbong Band operates behind the curtain. One thing is sure, they look plenty healthy.

Because their dictator is a evil quack. They can't say it so they added a quacking sound to a song praising him. Yet still having enough deniability to keep them from being shot. That would be my guess. Or maybe that is just want to be the case. Real lasting change minus an invading military power can only happen if the North Korean people demand it.

The same-style clapping still gets to me lol Really, these videos remind me of growing up under an extremist religious household. I had no way out, until I was an adult. I learned to play the game, and at times I even thought I was happy. I remember being told if I didn't clap enough in church, it was a sin. If I didn't do this or that, I was wrong. I remember the hopelessness I felt, the determination to do better, and feeling like there was no escape. I see the same kinds of looks in the people of North Korea in these videos, and that's partially why the way they clap is so unnerving to me. It's like they're all trained to be exactly the same, and they know any deviance could cost them dearly. At least the way I grew up, I had hope. When I was an adult, I was able to so simply move out and stop associating with the religious group. I wasn't forced to stay, and I didn't have to sneak out or break away. I just stopped going back. I mourn for people who are trapped by their government into such systems of oppression.

Unfortunately Yeonmi doesn’t have the answers to any of those questions. If she did try to answer them she would make up stuff that suits her narrative and gets her attention on KZfaq, which equals $ in her pockets.

They are very talented and beautiful ladies, it's such a shame that their talent is wasted into making propaganda music that worship such a vile Leader and government... I still like to think that they can at least find a semblance of joy when they're playing music and performing, in their daily life in hell... And that hopefully one day I'll see them freed from their "prison"...
