Side note: After doing this video I remembered they did Crown And The Ring live in Bulgaria a week or so before the Magic Circle Festival.

Did you know the album 'Hail to England' was made to pay tribute to England for accepting Manowar? They didn't get much acceptance in the US when they started out, but in England they got traction and became great. Still one of my favorite bands, listen to them almost on a daily basis.

I travelled to Berlin to see them on the Gods Of War tour back in the day. Live show was incredible. Favourite album is Into Glory Ride.

@@I.P1976 I heard the gods of war live show was something else with actors and stuff fighting on stage. Sounded pretty incredible. Would loved to have seen that one. Into Glory Ride rules!!!

I bought Into Glory Ride when it was released, that was my intro into them. It was okay. But the next year, I bought the All Men Play on 10 12" single and I was sold - couldn't listen enough - great stuff.

@@JeffMcCormack777 I hope to find that 12” single someday. What a great couple songs on that one. Sign Of The Hammer absolutely slays!!! Love that record. Hearing all those songs live was just mindblowing.

METAL!! SPIKES!!! AND CHAINS!!!! Manowar!!!! Seems like older Brothers are to blame for alot of Us. I remember mine coming home with Into Glory Ride!!! FKN BONKERS!! years later Me and My Brother had a band called LIMECELL, We played a bunch of shows with The Dictators, we became friends with Ross the Boss,weird how shit works out!!

Back in the 80's, I considered Manowar to just be another cheesy hair metal band that looked like a bunch of Chippendale dancers. However, when you talk to metal bands today, many of them will cite Manowar as influencing their music, so there's that.

@@jacqueschouette7474 they’re easy to pick on but the facts remain: they slay!!! Seeing them live is an experience and a half. It’s pretty incredible.
