@@Dead-EyeMetal hahahaha I missed both of KOIAI’s EPs because I was going to Japan that year and thought I’d be able to find them there. Didn’t think they would be so limited. Oh well. Stoked to have this blu ray though. I hope you can find a copy. Love Nemophila bigtime. They get so much praise on this channel and rightly so. They’re so good.

Thanks for this review/recommendation. 2:07 Japan just doesn't care much for genre boundaries. And rightfully so. Yeah, I don't think Ironbunny and Babymetal are a good comparison. But what is interesting Kotono has her own Babymetal connection, she performed as part of the backup dancers (Chosen Seven) of Babymetal at the Dark Night Carnival shows in 2018. 1 of those ladies (Saya) actually got to perform at Singapore and Australia shows as part of the 3 member formation. The year after 3 others (Avengers) were chosen that all have a similar background as Babymetal and could thus better integrate and years later 1 of them became the new member... (Momoko/Momometal) anyway, this is all not that important. What was very interesting and much more relevant and I think sad, Koiai performed a Babymetal song: Tales of the Destinies at one of their shows ones (which is such a crazy song, Babymetal only performed it live ones). They performed the song around the time of this disc and sadly it wasn't recorded/released as far as we know.

@@autohmae thanks for the details on the comment… appreciate it cos I didn’t want to go that deep into it all with Kotono and Baby Metal cos I wasn’t 100% sure on the specifics / dates of when she was with them. Thanks for that. It’s interesting you say they performed that song around this time cos in the blu ray, I swear Hazuki says they’re going to do 3 solo performances each. But there’s only 2 from each. I will have to go back and rewatch it again but I thought she did say 3. It could be she made a mistake but what if she didn’t and the show was cut? 🤔 Great performance regardless. Love this blu ray.

I have the Blu-ray, I consider myself very lucky to have gotten it due to the nature of the release, it was sold out in 1 day or less for overseas fans. I also have both Koiai albums with the photo booklets, they were so kind to print up. Very underappreciated band unless you already have been listening to them. Wakazaemon is the perfect bassist for this band, but she is in East of Eden and has done a lot of work with Marty. I have been into Lisa-X for 3 years now, such an amazing guitarist. Some people may not realize that Hazuki has been with Lisa-X longer than Nemophila. They just have not had the same spotlight as Nemo. If anyone can find any copy of that Blu-ray it will disappear fast, Last I heard it was completely gone with no chance to make more copies. Also, the Dancing with Kotono and her friend, forgot the friend's name was really the extra bonus for me plus the Hazuki solo section and the Lisa-X solo section. Is it just me, or did it seem like Kotono was having some "new kid on the block" moments? Or was that intentional? Hazuki said, "what, you are not going to introduce the rest of us"? Now that I think about it, it was probably just an act for comedic value. The "ABC" song is amazing, even if it is a pop song it is fun to listen to.

@@Richzee777 I never got the KOIAI albums cos when they were released, I was heading to Japan anyway and thought they’d be on sale everywhere and that I’d just buy them when I got there. Such a silly mistake on my behalf. It would be awesome if a label did a reissue on vinyl with one EP on side A and the other on side B. Hmmm. Yeah I laughed when Hazuki made that comment on stage. It was amusing. I dunno if she thought the crowd already knew very well who Hazuki and Lisa were or if she just simply got caught up in the moment and forgot. Either way, it was amusing. I loved every minute of this show and I feel that seeing the songs played live made me love the recorded versions a lot more. The dance part with Kotono and Saya Hirai was unexpected. I had no idea what was happening at first and then realised it’s probably cos Kotono was a dancer for Baby Metal and danced a lot in Ironbunny so people know she dances. Either way, it was cool. Loved every minute of the show and I can’t wait to see / hear what comes next and it may not be that long to wait since it appears they’ve been recording. Heaps good!!!!

Mono is the way to go on the Riot on sunset strip album. Duophonic means fake stereo, which does not sound very good.

Saw The Ramones in Brissie around 1990......Amazing!!!!! 95% of the Punkers & Sk8ers from The Goldie & BrisVegas were there. Forget the name of venue, but was an old theatre/ballroom close to the city & had such a classy space for the mosh of ages

They toured in both 89 and 91. Unfortunately I never got to see them in 89 (too young) but I saw the 91 tour with The Hard-Ons opening. Incredible show!!!

@@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow I saw them quite a few times in my home town Geelong [Geetroit]. what a great 3-piece live act. My brother's band supported them once & my bro got to sit in on the drums for Keish for one or two songs at that Barwon Club gig

Ridiculous when people / businesses don't allow video. So arrogant and pointless.

I got to see the Ramones three times. It could have been four, but I refused to see them when they opened for White Zombie because I thought it was a disgrace that they had to open for anyone, much less White Zombie. I probably should have sucked it up and gone.

Yeah you should have but I agree, the Ramones should never ever have had to open for anyone… EVER!
