Yes! I notice this in my daily life. So often I slide back to my „male“ voice, just because I am unsure or tired. And shame plays such a strong role also in body language and the whole presentation.

I 100% agree, and champion this message whilst simultaneously too timid to fully commit to it...

Claire, that was beautiful. Thank you! I'm just at that starting to use my voice stage and you're right, at the start it's bad. It's still SO much better than not being able to do so.

Thank you for sharing, I definitely identify with this, and feel this way as well. 🖤💚🖤 For me, it's also important to not project my own internalized guilt and shame on to others - I find this hard even with people that openly support me.

Thank you. I’m still in my first month of one on one lessons and I struggle with shame and embarrassment even in that setting.

I am at a point where I dont really feel shame. Disgust from dysphoria, pretty often. Exhaustion, because keeping a voice thats kinda tolerable takes most of my mental capacity. And those two lead to resignation.

hahaha, Claire is so fun. I never get bored of her shorts/clips. It's really funny at times when she gets all skit-like while still making a point and educating you.
