Majin Boob You are disgusting if you believe anyone with a criminal record deserved to be murdered the way George Floyd was. How do you live with yourself? First of all, the looting and destruction of property was not done by any protestors, it was done by outsiders and in some cases even by the police. But you’ve already proven you’re a horrible person so I doubt you could even understand that because Fox News told you otherwise. Speaking of facts, neighborhoods with less police have less crime so I don’t know where you’re getting your information. The police is overfunded and a racist institution, so yes the police should be defunded. Maybe you should spend some time educating yourself instead of commenting on KZfaq videos you dumb, naive person.

I genuinely really like Unfriended: Dark Web. I wasn’t keen on the original at all, I actually really disliked it. But for whatever reason, I felt like the sequel was an incredibly tense and spooky film. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, and I’m kind of sad that seemingly not many people have seen it at all. It’s a great little underrated horror gem and a brilliant sequel.

I agree! I was pleasantly surprised and I thought Dark Web was really well done. I actually appreciate that they left out the gratuitous gore, and I have no computer knowledge so maybe that's why it was easy to suspend disbelief with the hacking elements. I was super engaged with the plot twists, too!

Movies being "unbelievable" has never been a problem for me. As long as the story is entertaining and the acting is good I'm good. Plot holes things like that are fine I watch movies for entertainment and I don't get too deep with them. Loved unfriended. Havent seen dark web.

Dark Web was the first horror movie to actually make me feel anxious and scared after it ended. I know it is unrealistic but the fact that the dark web is truly a thing and that the people who use it and gatekeep it do actually have a form of power and can use it for or against whomever they choose. That's what truly scares me

I watch alot of documentaries and things of that nature and shit like Child, HUman traffacking CHild exploitation are real things that happen in real life and people sometimes wealthier people pay tons of money for things like that for their sick pleasures and they often times use the Dark Web as a source of it.

I honestly like Dark Web more than the first. The kills are way more creative and cruel. I like that the kills are done by other humans and not a mysterious entity. Plus the first movies deaths are hilarious. Idk any blenders that can shred a hand/neck like that, and the curling iron down the girl’s throat😂

I went into Unfriending thinking, "This is going to be a train wreck", and was pleasantly surprised. Watched it twice, and it holds up on repeat viewings. Haven't seen Dark Web yet. I had seen The Den (aka Hacked) earlier in the year, and found it to be a bit better. Had more of a "deep web" plot, but it was pretty good... until the end. Like most horror movies, the ending fell flat.

I love unfriended so much. I love it because of how they made it and it’s so cool to watch it play out. I’ve watched it so many times, I can’t even keep track anymore 😂 as for dark web, I really liked it as well. I thought the plot was really interesting and I loved the ending (I think we’ve seen the same ending because I have HBO as well) but I do agree that the friend group lacks the chemistry that the friend group in the first one had. I get that the friends in the first one were supposed to be portrayed as teenagers and the second ones were adults, but still. But overall, I really enjoy both! :)

Something like Unfriended happened to my sister. The girl was crazy and it was on Facebook instead of Skype. She threatened to burn down our house, kidnap my sister by pulling her out her window, and actually came to our house and beat on the front door. She was using a fake name so police couldnt help us. My sister had to sleep with me even though she was 20. She was too scared

Isn't it cool how we allrelate to teenage films so much? I think it's because we remember how, back then, it WAS realistic to hang out with people and be BFFs with them just because of proximity or circumstance... but tye friendship is no less real for that, is the fascinating part. That can be, like, soending time with people you don't even like, or LIKING people you wouldn't predictably get along with. Choosing friends more carefully, for better or worse, is such a grownup thing..,

Just marathoned both of these for the sole purpose of being able to watch this video lol. I loved the uniqueness of the way both movies were filmed so it definitely bumped up the score I gave it. The first one wasn’t terrible, I thought it was a really fun movie to watch and I would definitely recommend! You’re very right about the 2nd one not being truly horror, but honestly I thought it was a better watch than the first. It also made me more paranoid about the internet than I already was 😂

You should check out the movie App from 2013. You download their app before the movie starts and as it plays you're shown extra pictures, stories and clips throughout the movie ( it knows what scene you're on because it uses the microphone ). You can read the characters text messages as she types them and see her camera being accessed, even when the character herself doesn't know that it's happening. It's a really immersive experience and I remember being _so_ excited when I'd see my phone light up out of the corner of my eye. It was really cool. I wish more movies did it.

dark web is one of those movies that was so cheesy, off the wall, and nonsensical that it was good (i dont remember seeing the first one, even tho i know i did lol). i seen it in theaters with friends, and the whole theater was being goofy as heck the whole time, so it has really good memories for me. it started off with one guy in the back making jokes every now and again, but by the end of the movie, everyone was cussing at the screen when the characters did something dumb. no one got up and left so im assuming it didnt bother anyone, which is honestly the best part lol. i dont even like going to the movies, but that story makes me miss the theater lol

man i would be so annoyed if anybody did something like that at the movies. if you're loud at movie theatres here, you'd surely get thrown out. besides, it wasn't really that nonsensical. yeah, it was exaggerated, as movies usually are, but a similar story could've happened in real life. it's not that hard to hack into cameras and poorly protected laptops/pcs/smartphones if you're good at it and, if i have to remind you, dark web hackers are able to hack into police network or any hospital they'd like, they have done so.

The thing that bugs me off w Unfriended: Dark Web is that it should've not been connected w the 1st one and what I mean by that is that it should've been named something else, it's better as a standalone film not sharing a universe in the "Unfriended Franchise" they should've titled it as "Dark Web" only due to the fact that the reason y the 1st movies is titled as it is bc the mc unfriends Laura.

First, watching someone surf the net and pick out music while having lots of inane conversations on Skype went on way too long. I was quite bored with it. Second, I didn't find any of the characters likable. They all seemed like spoiled brats, to me. So, by the time they started dying off I was grateful something was happening, but couldn't care one bit about who it was happening to.

Always loved that movie. I do have a soft spot for movies that are film that way too. Great to watch on a computer screen, or even better, a laptop!

unfriended dark web had so much potential. They could have included so many aspects sorta like the real dark web that actually exists. Them showing how all the events taking place like a gameshow was great.

It's funny you mentioned the friends in Dark Web all feeling different. Most people I've talked to felt like they were just trying to check off boxes to please all demographics. Female poc, LGBTQ couple, deaf person, ect. Not that that grouping of people can't get along, just didn't feel like believable friendships and more just like trying to fit "one of everybody" in the movie so no demographic could claim they weren't represented. Just how it felt to me and a few others I've chatted with.

I liked Dark Web at first but I dont like how nobody lives in 3/4ths of the endings. And the only good ending is a bonus feature on a DvD. I need some sort of catharsis in my horror movies, otherwise what is the point?

I haven't seen Unfriended, but I saw a movie using this entire on the computer screen premise years ago. It's called The Den and it used to be on Hulu, although I'm not sure if it's still there. I remember liking it very much and I've seen it several times. It is gruesome and has some sexual content so be forewarned, but it uses this premise really well, in my opinion.

Probably gonna be an overlooked comment but as you said “creative deaths”, would you ever do a video about the final destination series? Unless you already did 😅

I haven't watched the first Unfriended in a while and I don't remember hating it, but I also remember thinking that I'd probably be in the minority for liking it. I recently watched Dark Web and was pleasantly surprised. I can't say I disagree about the lack of horror, but it didn't bother me and I didn't notice until you pointed it out 😂 Still I really like both films and, personally, think Dark Web is stronger. To each their own, I always love to hear your opinion!

I never thought Unfriended was bad and I feel like most people who think it is are just saying it because they can't be bothered to think about what they're watching. For a horror movie, it's not at all bad. There's horror movies like Open House, Swipe and The Bye Bye Man that aren't just bad - they're painfully boring and poorly acted... Unfriended is neither of those. It evolves quickly, it keeps grabbing your attention back and it's pretty well acted for what it is. It's purely because it fits into the found footage genre that people like to write it off completely. Fair enough if it's not someone's thing. But it's not bad. Objectively it is just simply not. It's original and well crafted, just a niche flavour.

I liked Unfriended a lot more than I expected. It was a different type of horror and I enjoyed it. The second one, not so much but yes the concept is really good for some of it - it just got ridiculous at the end.
