Din't Hope agree silently with Beast when he asked to resurrect Wolverine with a brain similar to a dog's one and told her its strictly confidential and no one should know about it cause you see "Beast wanted to see the extent of his healing factor"as an excuse.Thats kinda messed up to be fair and she is part of that too .

Wolverine needs to keep a journal , video diary, or take Polaroids with Post It notes like in Momento.. He is too old ( oddly enough ) to keep forgetting who he is. 😆

Krakoa was not torturing Wolverine. Krakoa was helping Wolverine and it's self. There was a currupt part of sabertooth harming krakoa. And thanks to Wolverine and the collar that Beast gave him, Wolverine was able to kill that part. Krakoa was helping him remember.

Xavier chose the original X-Men for a Reason, they will all potential Magnetos Cyclops, had some issues Jean Grey ,had self-control problems Iceman was a slacker Angel, there was evil in that kid and Apocalypse found it The Beast, his Age of Apocalypse counterpart is what he would be like without any inhibitors

I take it you're a new fan so you don't know about all the horrible things Beast has already done. If you're not a new fan then how the hell have you not seen him manipulate, throw adult Tantrums, lie to people, hit a kid, accidentally lead to the death of Xavier, become a drug addict, betray the X-Men twice and X Force Once, let a good man die even though he could have done something and all this before 2010

@@aSipOfHemlocktea so I started reading comics around the era of All-New and it's kinda insane how like chill beast was at that time. Jean was dead. Cyclops was a terrorist after Killing Charles. Angel was a stoic closed off dude. And Ice man was kinda a jerk, not horrible just kinda like annoying Human Torch Vibes. So Beast being the one to go grab the Young X-Men, with seemingly no evil intent, and then immediately falling I'll due to his mutation made him super sympathetic to me. So seeing the turn in X-Force was kinda wild. I have si ce learned of the many, many, many, many, many, war crime software Hank McCoy tho and yeah... fuck that man Young Beast deserved better.

Don't forget that for many years there were two Henry McCoys. The original and the Age of Apocalypse version. When Xavier had cerebro making copies of mutant minds, were these stored separately? or because it wasn't known that there were two for so long were they filed together? I think the current beast is the minds of both combined. That prison planet reminds me of the AoA prison camps theDark Beast had.

This gave me a thought… Deadpool, Sabretooth, Wolverine; all have healing factors, all deeply troubled psychologically. Marvel could do something with the concept of seeing, feeling your body be butchered and ripped apart, not to mention dying time and time again over the years having a brutal psychological impact on the individual… Could be somethin there 🤷🏽‍♂️

It was probably cumulative. The steady coalescing of _unchecked_ power, drip...drip...drip...would erode the morals of most people. Corruption is usually insidious, not all-of-a-sudden.

Ever since professor x was assassinated at the beginning of the krakoa era, beast has gone down this path... he will do whatever evil deeds are necessary to protect krakoa

We got two different things out of this story lol You saw it as Krakoa doing something bad to Logan. Here's my take: Logan's healing factor was actually already starting to restore Logan's sense of self and even memory. Krakoa was aware of what's been happening to Logan and decided to give Logan an assist to regain himself and set him free. I don't feel that the Sabertooth influence (which I called way back when he was exiled) had anything to do with what's going on in this story. The incredible part about this entire ordeal is that Logan was mindless. More mindless than his induced Weapon X state. He literally has nothing in the noodle because of Beasts interference upon Logan's resurrection. Logan's healing factor gradually began to restore his literal entire self. That's definitely going to go into the "feats" department for Logan's power showing. This has got to be as a result of all the resurrections Logan has had on Krakoa. Each resurrection leaves the mutants a little more powerful. Logan's been through more than several in their repeated attempts to destroy Orchis and Nimrod. He's got to be kicking Deadpool's level of healing in the rear right about now.

Nah, Dark Beast is still alive, but it's just his head floating in a jar that Mr.Sinister is holding bvn on to. He even tells him at one point that our Beast (from Earth-616) has become even darker than he ever was.

Haven’t read too many X-men books in the last decade. Too many weird ideas with Krakoa and regeneration still. I missed the All New X-men - solid story writing and art. The only crazy thing was time travel.

If anyone wants to cut to the chase: SPOILER ALERT!!!!! This is Dark Beat from the Age of Apocalypse cloned. Krakoa is evil. It's ALWAYS been evil. I know the book is rare, but it's been reprinted a million times. Giant-Size X-Men #1.

I hate Krakoa it literally destroys most of the whole plot of the X-Men and it was stolen from the Hulk anyway with gamma land.
