I think you can export Twitch streams and edit them and then create content for your channel. I find the most difficult problem with Twitch is tuning in at the stream time. i do not know how you make money on Twitch, Baylee Jae has a stream I have tuned in on a few times but I am not a regular. I really have no idea other than getting Ad monies that KZfaq is going to cut off for content providers because THEY Broke the LAW not the Users Nor content providers! These upcoming changes are the reason I ordered a webcam so I can try out streaming. Don't know how well this will go with a toddler to watch all day, but we'll see! I hope you're able to work on what makes you enough money while it's making you happy, even if it means you aren't always working here. I can definitely see myself tuning in to Twitch streams more in the future when I get a chance to work during hours that others are streaming :)

I think it's always good to diversify and if KZfaq gives you too much anxiety then sure, stop putting effort into KZfaq. However, I don't think people should be jumping ship based on something that could potentially affect their channels. We don't know what the effect will be until the changes actually happens. I think it's definitely a good idea to come up with a plan B for if it does totally ruin stuff, but there's always a way to work around the changes, too. It just depends on whether people want to do it. In your case, it seems like you haven't felt "at home" so to speak with KZfaq lately, so I think for you it makes perfect sense to find something else. The trouble is, aside from Vimeo I don't really see where people could go and post their videos. Maybe the instagram tv thing? But that doesn't seem to be all that great. Twitch is obviously great for streaming, but it's also tough because you will have to be "on" during those times. When filming a video for KZfaq you can still just sit in silence and do whatever, whereas streaming is so different to that. Also, it alienates people who are on different timezones as well as people who just don't watch streams. It's a tough decision!

I really love streaming on twitch! Being able to interact with the community live is super cool too! I understand the frustrations with KZfaq...I have been going back and forth on how much time I should keep dedicating to my channel too. But hey, I am still wanting to make a fun video with you sometime soon! I know I haven't been the best with keeping up with it but I think we could do something really fun even if the platform is potentially going to shit hahaha

Yeah I've been thinking about trying to stream more on Twitch too, but my town's only internet provider isn't always reliable, so I've had signal issues in the past. It is something I'm looking into though, so maybe? I have a hard time checking in at regular stream times cause my work hours are so sporadic (yay retail) but I'm definitely gonna make an effort to hang out in yours whenever I can! Good luck! :D

I started KZfaq because it was my favorite platform, i have never been a fan of twitch, and there isn’t another platform that can contest in my opinion. I’m really heartbroken that this is happening. KZfaq has been my dream since I was 8 and to say I might actually quit is huge! Like, nobody understand huge! KZfaq is not making the right choice with this update. And I am honestly scared.
