I thought I would share with everyone how nervous and scared I am. I'm currently waiting for a decision from my local district attorney on an expungement of my record. I was 18 when I caught 5 Felonies. I'm 46 now, and my state has finally passed laws that give me a chance. I never thought I would be this nervous about getting charges removed. It's understandable when you're getting charges added . Just to warn anyone who's reading this about what felony charges can do to your life. I lost so many opportunities to better the quality of my life because of my record. I've never been able to vote, and I've lost so many job opportunities. In Tennessee, when you become a felon, your punishment is usually for life even if the charge on paper isn't but for a few years ! The new laws have given me and other Felons in Tennessee hope.

I know it's something I didn't really think about and just did on instinct. I reallyyyyyy didn't want to lose my drugs, and the cop was definitely new, and he thought he was stronger than me and my corolla. He was not stronger than my Corolla haha. He held on for over half of a mile though. I had to swerve the car from left to right with my right arm and elbow him in the face with my left arm to get him to let go! He should have just called it in when I took off. His partner did. He was obviously smarter than him! My good friend that I was with got so scared he jumped out immediately. RIP Nick! I didn't get too far in that corolla, though lol. I never managed to make it out of their site. If I did, I would've gotten away more than likely. It was my area with too many places to hide, woods with several paths to several places I could go, and they had no dog. When I was surrounded I knew I was done so I tried to do suicide by cop. I mean I gave them every reason in the world to shoot me. I even acted like I was reaching for a gun but I had no gun. Thank God this all happened before street fetty was a real thing. I probably wouldn't have ever survived! Everything was real heroin back then. Anyone that was junkie back in the day but still can't stop using is beyond pissed bc the high lasts less than half as long, it isn't as enjoyable at all and it's far more likey that you are going to die! I'm never signing up for that!
