My ex is Brazilian and when she first came to America, her family settled down in a very large Brazilian community, which had so many amazing Brazilian and Portuguese bakery’s. She quickly showed me pastel and coxinha and I can say i ate so many of each over the years we were together

Don't say "you guys" to make yourself look different and generalize a whole nation. You don't know what most of "us" know or speak. Plus, whoever you are talking about probably live in a place that is more diverse than wherever you live. Especially, when i see a bunch of Portuguese speakers who say that Spanish is so easy to understand but Italian is so different. Which doesn't make any sense at all.

Many people find it hard to pronounce coxinha. Basically you have to pronounce this: Coshinya 😂 this is how to pronounce it in Brazil 😊. Hope this helped. 👍

Man I don’t know if I can help you with the pronunciation but here it is. It’s CO, like initial to a corporation, Xin like Chi Ching, but only the Chi sound, and Nha like Nah but with the H coming first. Don’t know if it will help but I gave my best shot. Much love From Brazil 🇧🇷 ❤
