Okay but the production quality of this video is actually so impressive. I felt like i was in a wes anderson movie! also the mirror perfectly placed so we can see you while also looking at the top down of your desk! Oh my gosh it is so sick! you have done incredible work on your videos and i just wanna tell you my little eyes appreciate the aesthetics and care

I had bought the muji supplies, and then we saw asteroid city and there is a scene where the characters are standing in the dark and when they speak their faces light up. I knew when I saw it that that's how I wanted to show the materials!!!! it is directly inspired by that scene so good eye!!!! Hehehe

The mirror idea is so good, shoutout Rocket! Also liked the flat lay with all the materials you ordered and how the light animates it all. Might steal the idea for my own videos in future😏🤣 Can't wait to see what you create for Peachtober too!🤸🏽‍♀🤍

This is absolutely brilliant to see you being experimental. I have a new sketchbook and I’m in a bit of a rut creatively but this has inspired me to pick up my pens again. Thank you! (Also your mirror trick is clever)

The editing/sound on this video is 👌👩‍🍳 and I’m journaling while watching, getting inspired to do some paper collage, and admiring your free style approach! I always feel so inspired to make art when watching your videos- it feels like we’re (the other artists watching, too!) having an art day together. How fun would that be? There are no art groups where I live out in the middle of nowhere, so this is so enriching for me 💛

I know the intro or swatch part of the video is an international choice, and I like that people try something new. I have to say though, that for me or really disturbed the flow because my s eyes always have to spontaneously focus on something new instead of being able to relax, like when you're just narrating. I did the second style much more relaxing (which I guess is what most of us are here for) 😊

I read a lot of science fiction/fantasy; if you are interested in that genre, here are a few recommendations off the top of my head: The author Robin Hobb is amazing, read either her Assasin's Apprentice series(I cried so much...I don't usually cry reading books), or her Forest Mage series. She is such an excellent writer overall, but I think where she excels is her amazing world building and her ability to make you feel a strong emotional attachment to the characters. I was so invested in both of these series. I think she is my favourite author; she's definitely up there. There is a book called "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson that is one of my favourite one off books(I read a lot of series); it took me a few tries to really get into it because there is a lot of world building and lingo that can be a bit off putting, but once I got rolling, I was hooked. He has other really good books also. His books are meaty/girthy/big bois(so, it's probably the equivalent of reading a series). The author Christopher Moore is hilarious, imo; he has soooo many funny books. A lot of them are on the lighter side and also aren't part of a series, so that makes them really accessible; however; I recommend one of his more "substantial" books, "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal." I haven't read this book in a while so I can't be more specific, but I remember laughing out loud...a lot. I also really enjoyed "The Cruel Prince" series by Holly Black...probably a little too much. It is 3 books long and it had, in my opinion, a very satisfying ending that hit home for me in stark contrast to the way many other books seem to fall flat(even books I enjoy!) While these books aren't necessarily "light" reading, I consider them fluffy, romantic, "feel good" reading; there is a lot of great world building, but I'm really reading them for the main relationship. >_> Another series like this is "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas; once you get past the first book, it gets so good! If you decided to read these and could only read one, I would recommend "The Cruel Prince" series over ACOTAR.

The best new book I have read this year - The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty, about a female pirate captain which is fantasy. Other non new books have liked: ‘Get a life Chloe Brown’ - romance with a bit of humour; the time travel funny books by Jodi Taylor - The Chronicles of St Mary’s; ‘Saga’ the Graphic novel comic series which is amazing space opera and a good Agatha Christie like A Murder is Announced, And Then There Were None or Five Little Pigs.

I also tried reading American Psycho...and I also do not recommend! it was so bad and I remember it made me cringe a lot which really took me out of it! I could not get into it at all. I enjoyed the movie for what it was, but I could not get a foothold in the book. It is usually the opposite way around for me!
