Let's walk all the Pontoons at the Chicago Boat Show (2020)

The 2020 Chicago Boat Show was a definite eye opener for me. Never have I seen so many incredible pontoon/Tritoon boats under one roof.
My goal was to do quick walkthroughs of all the pontoon boats I saw at this show.Some of these pontoons were simply jaw dropping. Keep in mind being from South Florida we dont see much or know much about this style of boat.
Lets walk the Chicago Boat Show and see what boats interest you. Comment below I'm curious to know which one was your favorite.

Alfred you sold me on the Sylvan/Starcraft bar/sun lounger boat...ordered and being built as we speak. Went and saw one in person after looking at many models and this has the most versatility and WOW factor of all I have seen in this price range and so many ways to use it with the bar and sun lounger configurations....can't wait for next spring. Thanks for the video from a fellow videographer.

Pontoon style has come a loooonnnnggggg way in the last 20--30 years. Family used to have one back in the 90's and it was almost embarrassing to be seen in. I'd rock a lot of these any day.

I have the Manitou Legacy and not a complaint in the world. Beautiful boat with plenty of power from it's 150 Evinrude E-Tec. Love the video!

I’m from Michigan and pontoons are definitely popular but once those 3 footers come in the sport cruisers and center consoles can really handle the waves. You should do a sea trial on Lake Michigan in Chicago.

I have a 24ft South Bay 522 CR Tritoon, with a Yamaha Vmax 200... Salt Water in NJ all season long every year. just gotta maintain em right with the proper protections... Great Video!! thanks for the nice long walk around!!! our Boat Show here in NJ may be Canceled this year... (Hopefully not) but this got me my fix hahah

As someone who grew up on the lake; I'm amazed they make pontoon boats without livewells... I honestly never understood that someone would go out and not fish lol

As someone who fished off a pontoon for years, it's not that big a deal. You are generally near where you will clean or consume the fish. Lots of guys up here just clean the fish on a tray on the front deck. Fishing pontoons (just a regular pontoon that a fisherman will customize) will often have a table inside the fence for cleaning as they are less concerned about stains on the carpet. If you are going to be fishing for hours and need a live well, they have portable live well coolers you just set on the deck and either run off battery or plug into a cigarette lighter. Most of them have aerators for the fish, but some guys will actually put a small pump on the cooler and just drop the intake hose into the water either under the fence or just through a hole they drilled.

Awesome tour,a lot to cover in that time period,thank you for being lured in by that 17995 price board,that would be me,currently shopping for a 4 position fishing rig that can also tow a wakeboarder and be towed by a half ton pickup,I am currently favoring Lowe as a brand because they offer quality without paying an arm and a leg but final choice is still tbd

Looking at the 194,it has 4 position fishing chairs and one couch,you can add a pontoon and put a 115 on it with a tow pylon and still be at around 2000 lbs,their website has the build a boat feature,I recommend it,still haven’t touched base with a dealer to check delivery times and possible trade in

Nice video but I would have like to have hear you tell us which model each was. You should have pointed out that some were tirtoons and that third pontoon give you the storage space from the deck. In 2018 we purchased a Sylvan 8425. I put a 150 Honda on it. It is great for the Intercoast here in Palm Coast Florida. We chose this because my wife picked it out at the Philly boat show 2 years in a row without even knowing which she had picked.

There are more pontoons on my Home lake than any other boat you should really check out the Sun Tracker Legacy addiction Sun Tracker Harris Crist have been around the longest

Alfred, no, pontoon boats are NOT sexy. They look like your front room with an engine. Double sofas on water, perleese. Get back to proper boats handsome.
