Man #1 death battle of this season is definitely between Dovahkiin vs chosen undead (for its awesome story telling, transcendent theme, oozing with love for the source materials and beautiful cinematography) and Cole vs Alex (for its awesome choreography, top notch camera tracking, creative usages of both characters powers and just the fact that the whole thing lived up to the hype after being requested for 10+ years)

Kinda fitting that after two of yout most request matchups happen, you'll give us a brand new top 10.

Dang, Rina and Hyper both got blown up by Frieza after seeing the next time. Feels bad, man. Regardless, I am so happy at how this episode came out. Any grievances with the analysis aside, they captured Cole and Alex in the fight _perfectly._ The sandboxy nature of the fight really helped to just capture exactly what everyone wanted from this fight, and the dialogue was just perfection.

The reason for the out of pocket stuff is because they are using phrases and popular stuff *from* 2013 (The script from the trash joke) when this match up was revelant so they use jokes from that time. "That just happened" and "Hes right behind me" were popular at that time. They even went with the old pre-battle phrase "end this debate" line. Which is all subtly genius

They calculated the amount of seconds there are in 69 years, which is 2.176 billion seconds, and then multiplied it by 40 (the amount of bits the human brain processes a second), which comes out to 87.04 billion bits. They then divided it by 40, which equates to 2.176 billion bits per second. They then divided it 11 (the number of seconds Alex Mercer processed this information) by 2.176 billion to get 5.05518422929E−9 seconds, which is 5 nanoseconds. Getting the reaction speed of equal to light, which is 3.336 nanoseconds, and dividing that by 5.055 nanoseconds and that comes out to 0.66 (rounded it up). Multiply this by 100 and you get 66 or 66%, which equates to 66% the speed of light.

I'm not as much of a fan of the animation. Remember Bond vs Wick? I feel like this time they were trying to hide the jank behind the speed. Whenever they move at human speed it looks off - and whenever it gets fast, it can be a bit difficult to follow. This is one of the few animations where I even stopped and rewinded the video because some shots should have lingered on a little longer in my eyes. This made it difficult for me to appreciate all the setpieces like you all did. Also: I don't know if it's part of the transformation, but why does Alex's face look bigger than Cole's? Just check out their mouths and noses at 23:29.
