I always found it funny this basically a superhero show with the Street Fighter characters I felt this show was trying to be like the X-MEN show and Bison the Magneto.

More like GI-Joe than X-Men. Though the artstyle reminds me of X-Men and that comparison reminds me that we'd get a crossover between those two.

I remember that this cartoon was Aired on Cartoon Network here on Latin America. Not only that but they also Aired the SF2 OVA with the Spanish Cartoon Voices! Imagine my surprise when I jumped from This Silly campy show to Ryu Scaring Sagat and Chun Li on the Shower. That was some experience.

The more I watch this the more I realize just how much Street Fighter V's story mode was.....basically this? I mean it had more anime cliches and what not but it all came down to a band of street fighters teaming up to defeat M.Bison and his minions in GI Joe like missions all over the world.

Ok ok ok...to be fair...I really dig the CONCEPT of the Street Fighters working together being international crime fighters. I like the idea. Them playing off each other and the character interaction. The execution is just LAUGHABLE. Matt’s riffing though is making this awesome.

When I watch this series when I was a kid it was weird seeing Ryu not the focus since he's the protagonist of Street Fighter Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li are the main characters of Street Fighter and sometimes Guile be like the fourth main character.

I love how these awful fighting game tie-in cartoons always made the weirdest candidates the tech guy, like Nightwolf in the Mortal Kombat one. Also Blanka needs to wear that Ninja Turtles-tier disguise all the time.

I find the idea that _Street Fighter: The Animated Series_ would be worried about losing viewers to _Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm_ when they debuted as part of the same programming block on USA (the Action Extreme Team) and even had a crossover episode with that series, kind of weird.

I kinda wish the status quo didn't get reset. Like, Guile stays evil forever, and becomes BFFs with bison, so now the street fighters have to take down their old boss. I'd tune in to that story.

Idk but there was an episode where she does do the Lightning Kick. And later she does say Kikoken instead of Fireball so the show does learn albeit way too late.
