This one was my favorite too. Leo knows that when Roger and Riggs treat him bad, they are just joking around. Heck, Riggs gives Roger crap too. I liked the story about Froggy!

This is my favorite one in the franchise. It really feels like Murtaugh and Riggs are outmatched by an overpowered villain in Jet Li. They actually have to double team him in the end to have a fighting chance against him.

This was always my favourite too, for the exact same reason. It felt like there was a lot of heart and the scene between Leo and Riggs at the gravesite was just beautiful and so heartfelt. And, as much as I love these movies, I’m with you both. They don’t need a fifth. They’re never going to improve on this ending.

The truth is that the whole production team was a big family with Richard Donner at the head. That’s what made the LW series so amazing.

This is my all time favorite cop tandem. I've seen them all hundreds of times and never ever get tired. The lethal weapon movies are a must have

Mel Gibson did a great job in this movie/series of making you feel sorry for him about the loss of his wife, without her ever being a character. We only saw a picture of her in the first movie. Second, @ 3:03 might be the most hilarious question Toni has ever asked. "Do the tire's normally do that?!" As if you would know what the tires on a tanker exploding looks like. So funny. Also, the Froggy story always gets to me. This is my favorite wrap-up movie of all-time.

If you go by Vicky's birthdate on her headstone, assuming they were close in age, Martin would've been 45 or so. P.S. I recommend Losing Isaiah to watch.

Yes they are making a 5th one and Mel is very involved in the fight on child smuggling. He was instrumental in helping with the film The Sound of Freedom so this one is going to be about them dealing with that in some fashion.

They prettty much revealed in the third movie that Murtaugh had taken some of that money in the second movie which Riggs had told him he should take. Near the end when Riggs and Murtaugh were having that conversation while Jet Li's character was distracted, the unspoken realization they were both having was that they needed to take Jet Li's character out then, because if they didn't he'd be too much a threat to Murtaugh's family. Yep, this movie wrapped it up into a neat quadrilogy :D Before they decided to make it a quintilogy. Honestly, I'm curious to see what they come up with for the 5th movie. I've always been optimistic about these kinds of things, admittedly unrealistically.

What a rollercoaster of emotions for your lovely wife in this one !! She cried ! She laughed ! A lot !! Nice to see her laugh quite often !!! She is right this one was made very well !! Great ending !!!! Your a good team in this reaction but it all seems to come down to her reaction because she's a deeply sensitive lady !!! Quite clever too !!! But she has the ability to make or break the reaction !!!!! She IS the key !!!!! You need to see "An Officer and a gentleman" !!! Your a GOOD team for this one !!!!

Sometimes... I wonder how they film some of these road stunts and stuff in hollywood films it looks crazy. it doesn't look fake in terms of CGI & the cost must be insane you would want to get the right shots with the camera the first time.

23:59 it’s to make it look more used. When the money looks new and crisp people tend to question the authenticity of it but if it looks like it’s been in circulation for awhile then you might think it’s real.

We don't need a "5" but if Mel is directing, it should be awesome. Trish gave Lorna the book. It may seem a little weird, Trish being a successful author but in real life she did have a successful singing career, including two great Christmas songs.

The over the top stuff doesn’t bother me. I actually enjoy it. Would that stuff happen? Of course not. That’s why it’s fun to do that stuff on screen. You should watch the expendables. Those are over the top and I love them!!!!! lol

Please watch more of Jet Li's movies (the villain who beat up Riggs and Murtagh) He's a great action hero. Also he killed the guy on the rooftop because he's the one that led the cops to them, being the one on that ship with the immigrants.

This may or may-not be the Best one, but it more than tries to Both the Biggest one and the Funniest one of them all!👍 Y'all had to have Enjoyed this one better than the 3rd, and I hope that the Villain wasn't "too Intense" for Toni.🙏It's been 25 years and My Mother STILL hasn't forgiven Jet Li for this performance...🙄

My one problem with this movie is when Roger said "I am freeing slaves, like no one did for my ancestors" We had a civil war and tens of thousands of whites died to free slaves, I HATE when people lie about history.

I agree with David that the last two didnt measure up to the first two but I still enjoyed them. I can understand Toni's liking this a lot though because of the "family" thing. They all had humor but I felt the plots were better in 1 and 2. Leo was great in this one.

@popculturallychallenged I know, and I'm sure we all appreciate finishing the entire series, rather than starting one ie The Silence of the Lambs or Glass trilogies and then not following up with the subsequent films, like so many do. For that I thank you. My consistent peave is just that the same movies are used over and over by "reactors" and few are bold enough to get out of the flow of mediocrity and use a broader list. One that isn't duplicate of every other reactor. In any case, you two are wonderful. I had hoped you'd use either "Hidden Figures", "Green Book", or even "Men of Honor" during the month of February. All based on true historical events. All excellent stories, eliciting a broad range of emotions. All beautifully written and casted. All power movies. But alas....more of the "standard fare". ✌️🎬

I couldn't stand Chris Rock with the cussing. He was a nerd overcompensating. Plus Chris was just going through his stand-up routine throughout the whole movie. How could Rianne choose him for her boyfriend is crazy. And how old was Murtaugh? 65? He should be on his pension!

Good reaction overall, but you gotta stop looking for real-world logic in movies like this :-) this series is as stylized as Akira or The Matrix, but in its own way. The rapid-fire banter during emergencies, the house of eternal structural damage, action sequences that an entire department wouldn't see half of in 30 years etc.-it's all part of a "what-if" world with its own rules that we inhabit for the fun of it. The absurdity is the point, not a flaw or oversight. You'll have a better time if you go into it accepting the internal logic.

@@popculturallychallenged To be fair, I'd direct this more to David in this one. 🙂Sometimes a thing is just a funny gag and shouldn't be thought of in terms of "they wouldn't do that" - e.g. the flirting security van driver in Lethal Weapon 3 whom you guys also found a bit implausible. In fact, some of the humor in the LW films is Pythonesque in the way it's supposed to just smack you across the cheek and then run off, leaving you going "wtf?".
