beautiful explanation .... I have adult plants and some in the lower part in contact with the ground become yellow and soft, why? too much water or too much sun exposure? the aerial part is green and in excellent health.

I just wanted to say that yes, you can grow it from seed. If you have local super markets that cater to foreigners, you’ll likely find it there. Peel it and put it in a nursery, don’t over water it. It’s of the cactus family and doesn’t like to be too wet. You can get over 100 plants fe one fruit. All the best

She's using a motorcycle tyre, the tyre won't be able to take the weight of 4 plants in the longer run... probably that's why she's only growing one plant per post.
