4x maps are an absolute must. GPS, and several other things. We need moisture in the game as well more dynamic weather and crop insurance

I would like GPS, Lease to own, Manual connect, lease of production points, and better IA. I've played on both, but I find most of the really good mods end up on both. Hopefully Sony and Microsoft ease up on script mods if they're on the Mod Hub. Perhaps with the rise in popularity of FS Giants may have some more leverage with the consoles.

24:00 I agree, the Motorbikes will be a "one trick pony" unless they do something with them. While the Side-by-sides can be a bit more handy in the game currently, apart from taking a single pallet or bale around, they're still 1 trick ponies. My solution to this, of course, would be to give the Motorbikes, Side-by-sides, the Dog AND Horses another use: Herding Livestock. A crucial part in animal farming, especially with sheep and cattle, that FS doesn't do justice. Or at least, You wouldn't find someone in the real world cramming 100 sheep or cattle into a tiny "Herdsman's Stick" to transfer them between pens anyway!

As for "Stars Align", Daimler Truck & Bus has 3 "star" brands: Fuso (Mitsubishi) for Asia, Western Star for North America, and Mercedes for Europe. I'm not holding my breath, but it would make lot of sense...

personally the stars align statement for me, suggests that maybe rice at the start has to be hand harvested and when the stars align a new harvester will drop

If they could focus and put in to the game as you guys are mentioning, irrigation, flooding etc.. That would be great, focus on the climate and how things are in the real world, that would be a great game changer in a positive way. How it affects the crops etc

A thought I had about the part where they took the selfie with the storm in the background was maybe Giants will be creating a mobile app for face scanning and the base game will now have ability to show characters in 3rd person with the users actual face scan. The only time consoles got to see their player was in the build menu or in a vehicle

Bells and whistles are good, but for me it’s realism. This is a sim after all… Better and more trees, textures, physics, weather, fog, water. I could go on. A lot of games are getting super realistic. FS, as good as it is, is starting to look a bit average by comparison.

I am one of the biggest complainers in FS history, I’m always giving Giants a hard time about the lack of realism in their simulator, the basic base game maps (still with boring square fields) and the fact modders do a better job then Giants themselves. But I have to admit being excited after watching the trailer and reading the info. They finally dropped last gen consoles, added ground deformation, dynamic weather, fog, rice, spinach, Asian map, etc… I already ordered the game with season pass. Now I do hope for base game gps (after 15 years it already been in game) and more realism (stubble destruction, bale rotting, moisture, insecticide, pesticides, funguside, crop rotation, germination, veterinary, vehicle maintenance, better cover crops, base game precision farming). They already confirmed that there’s no precision farming from the start. That’s why I hate moving to a new game, without stuff like that it will be very boring and not realistic. Time will tell. Nice video btw. My 3 favourite KZfaqrs.

You just need to use the farmsim helpers to know you shouldn't trust A.I.😅

I wish they would simply map making. Develop a way to do it similar to how you make starcraft maps. Just have a blank map and put all the textures you could paint in and have the buildings you could place wherever. Just leave out traffic if that's to complicated
