1) Quilling strips - (i recommend thin strips and not thick ones as the coil loosens up better with thin strips rather than thick ones.)

Nice video. I subscribed. I have a question though. What did you do for the paper on the inside not to move? It looked like gravity was doing its job but then they came back looking pretty stable. Is it just time to "get used to the shape" or something else? Thank you for sharing ;P

Maybe you could spray the thing with a nicely watered down glue and let it dry... ?

+Virgo Village Yes they are made up of paper and so you need to take proper care of them. You can even apply glue all over the earring to give it a finish and let it dry. Thank you! Keep watching

very nice ! But the ear ring finished seems to be very fragile because nothing prevent it to unwind ...except with some varnish ? did you try that ?

I am able to make the vortex earring and it comes out great and then pretty quickly the outer strips begin to unwind. I tried to coat it with protective but it didn't stay. what am I doing wrong? thanks so much for your great videos!!!

+Cindy T Hey Cindy, thanks for watching! About your query, look at my hands carefully as i unwind the coik i hold it with my other to fingers so that it doesnt open up all together! I am concerned that these beautiful pieces have no long lasting protection coating. As soon as they get wet or oily they're destroyed. What do you protect them with that keeps the integrity of the art piece
