Barney looked like it did not have all six wheels locked to run. A little rain helps keep the dust down, heavy rain is a mud maker. Yes, the Owner needs soil that will grow good weeds so the roots will stabilize the slope of the pond edge.

I agree with Rob, that rear axle was not driving at all...hope it was just mis-selection and not like the problem that Dirt Perfect had with his truck.

@kiwi_welltraveled4375 Жыл бұрын
Watching the drone footage, It's impressive how much more the fully loaded haul truck compacts the clay even after the sheep's foot compactor has been over the area. Would it not be advantageous if the fully loaded haul truck each time, reversed to the end of the lift then drove back to the area which it's required to dump its load. The extra compaction for no more than a further minutes driving would be very beneficial. Fascinating to see the actual logistics of creating a pond dam. As always Massive Respect from Aotearoa, New Zealand 😀👍💙💛

It is interesting to hear and see the development of the dam and and the pond. The drone shots really give a good perspective on the project. From the look of it, not getting in technicalities of the differences, it is more a small lake rather than a pond. That haul truck is amazing as far as the amount material it can move and somewhat disappointing when you consider how little it takes to stop it in its tracks, but still worth having around. That is going to be a great looking area when done. Enjoyed the video Chris, thanks for the ride along sir.
