Gavin played almost perfectly. He should have gone for the hat game instead of trying to buy a star. If he had, he would have won. Which shows a distinct difference in the groups play styles: Micheal is strategic, Gavin is reckless, Ryan is (oddly) reactionary, and Jeremy is opportunistic. This is why Micheal wins so often, and also why it's often so close between him and either Gavin or Jeremy: Micheal plays it safe, which often has a lower yield, but is more consistent. Gavin takes huge risks, and gets huge rewards, but also huge losses. Jeremy capitalizes on his opponents slip-ups, but when they don't slip up, he tends to fall behind. Ryan typically just responds to the game, and so doesn't use it to the best of his ability. It's often a matter of luck, but the strategies of each player makes a huge difference.

Tristan Lawhorn this needs to be at the top. Everyone complains about Michael but his play style isn't his fault. A great example of his overall play style is doing the jackpot game but only at a cost of 5 coins. Smart evaluation!

Great analysis, but remember: Michael is only allowed to have a consistent, tactical playstyle because he is so good at the minigames and evaluating the board. So really, he wins because... He's more skilled 😂

Ryan hating these games and not doing great is always a win when something good happens. i would be happier seeing Ryan win over anyone else. love the other guys, but its not as great rooting for them and seeing them win

Spoiler: Gavin could’ve won. On turn 19, he should’ve gone left, gotten to the star shuffle game, and gained an extra star, since that game is so easy, and he would’ve had one more star than Michael

In his defense, every possible thing went wrong: he landed on the red just before the star, he lost the minigame, Michael took 10 coins from him AND got the action space on the last turn to get two bonus stars. It really didn't look like it mattered where he went on that fork in the road.

Nah, I followed it each time pretty easily. It helps if you sort of defocus your eyes from locking onto just the hat and look at the whole area instead.

Super unpopular opinion here, but I don't mind that Michael wins nearly every time they play this. Regardless of if he wins or loses, I actually enjoy smug Michael, ditto for smug Gav, Jeremy, and Ryan. I just enjoy watching them fuck each other over, have amazing luck, or shoot themselves in the foot while playing. I watch it for each turn and the hilarity that ensues, not for who wins. Team Nice Dynamite got me into AH, and Battle Buddies quickly became my second favourite, so while watching these, I don't give a rats ass who wins, because I love everyone in these and I love how salty they get towards each other as the game goes on. That said, I'd love to see Jeremy playing as Boo again sometime soon and sweep the floor so that Boo can finally have his day XD

He doesn't win that much in the videos, i think that is only his 4th win. But don't quote me on that. Although he always DESTROYS on the board and wins like 80% of the mini games it is ridiculous. They need someone that can like knock Michael down a peg in the mini games because it isn't even fair at this point, unless it is a mini game that is up to chance and even then the game regularly favors him.

Yay! Mario Party! Sundays used to be some of the most boring days on youtube (as a whole), but now they're something I look forward to! Only downside is now I'm dreading April...If this is Mario Party March. I'd still like to float my idea of going through every map of every mario party. That'd be some good content right there.

Did anyone else notice that in the "Throw me a bone" minigame around 29 minutes in that Micheal EXACTLY tied the current high score down to the hundreth of a second? It was 30.51s before and Michael ended with 30.51s.

Ryan R Not really, they use the map a lot to see where the star is and that changes which route they take. If they can't see the star they'll just have to guess and that could be amusing

I think if they played it with no map checking and mandatory events (like the star gambles, etc.) Just no mandatory orb purchases. I don't know about mandatory orb using, it may just ruin the game.

For future reference the red orb floaty spaces don't affect the player who placed it, but if the player who placed it lands on the space it negates the affect for people cross the space while they are on it.
