Oh wow! At the moment where you encountered that giant gold robot, you somehow managed to sequence break, because what's normally supposed to happen is that when the robot drops you, you end up at a much lower level of the shaft, landing into some goo down below, where you have to solve puzzles to break open some tubes of goo so they can flood the shaft and get you back up to where you need to be. When you drained the goo and explored the other rooms, one of your deaths reset the goo's level, but the bridges were still opened up for you to proceed normally! It is a beneficial sequence break from what I know, but it certainly surprised me!

As a completionist (and someone who loves breaking things) I'm actually kinda pissed that I missed content due to a bug. 30:11 - the moment I realize "wait, the goop is back". I assumed all I was missing was a longer ladder climb back up the shaft, had I known there was actual content down there I would've gone back for it. Oh well. Maybe I'll retcon this at the beginning of the next episode. Or not. We'll see. In any case, thanks for letting me know.

I actually came looking for a walkthrough because I was worried I sequence broke here myself. When he dropped me, I teleported onto the bridge, and he just kinda froze for a moment, then disappeared. I also skipped getting the first gun earlier by shooting the teleport through the grate right by where you get it. I was upset to find I missed stuff...

He stumbled into a sequence break. The goo is supposed to be alot lower (remember how it drained?), when he died from the red insta-kill robot it reset the goo level. He was supposed to fall all the way down the shaft and solve puzzles or whatnot.

What was supposed to normally happen was that the goo was supposed to be at a much lower level when the robot sent him down. However, one of his deaths reset the goo level, so when he triggered the event with the robot, he actually did an unintentional sequence break that actually saved some time in the game.

Wtf, you got to the second phase of the fish boss on the first try? I tried three times, rebounding the beams more often and hitting away the tentacles more, and all the game gave me was being slapped to death and playing for what feels like several minutes of grinding on a boss that never indicated I was whittling him down much less going too a second stage.

Nope. BW and Alyx are God-Tier VR games. This is an A- or a B+ tier game so far... which is still pretty good tbh. I'm definitely enjoying this.

You know what I don’t get. Why do monsters have an advantage of let humans? Like when the video just started that first monster tried to hit you with a very long wind up, why shoot it when you could just beat it to death? And in horror in general. I get that most monsters are made to be apex predators, but humans have kills just about one of every species of Apex animals on earth, with only their hands. (With the only acception being tigers, gorillas, and moose) I mean just two years ago some one killed a mountain lion in a grappling match. Why can’t we have more People like Dutch from Predator, or that guy from Jason X. Hell even IT was killed but the same group of kids three times already, and Ripply was female bantam weight scientist with no military training yet she killed a Xenomorph queen. And I know that there is a few games were the victims have beaten the shit out of monsters that have been stalking them (looking at you Resident evil) but I wish there was more games like that. Give players the fight or flight option, not just flight.

i think you broke the game because when you drained the goo and died the goo reapered soo you where supoused to fall into tge botton of the goo container soo you basicaly skiped that part
