I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but I had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. I have my heart to JESUS and he made me over again at age 23.. almost 9yrs later Hallelujah, I'm still free and born again, and filled with the Holy Ghost…JESUS is a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

My husband and would rent these movies back in the day to watch with our kids.My eldest child is an Theology student and will receive his masters in December 2022. He loves the lord with all his heart as do my other kids. We as parents are given an awesome opportunity to raise our kids under God's instructions. I pray that everyone will search the scriptures like never before , in it we will be drawned to the father. Amen!

The king was in love with Esther, noticed she was raised for such a time as this, even if the Lord God is not mentioned in the Book of Esther, yet, we see His Hand in everything, especially the part when the king raises his scepter to Esther, it is divine in nature. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ who gave His all for His Bride, His Bride is all believers who are born again as mentioned in the Book of John, Jews and Gentiles alike. John 3:16.🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰💖🌺🦋

It's a great story but it has not proven to be historical. The story was not found in the dead sea scrolls it is the only book from the old testament not found in the scrolls. If anything imo its the greatest love story ever written

God connected their hearts with one night alone together. It wasn’t even a long night. This night kept his mind on Esther and from choosing any of the women brought before him.

My fav part is when, after 3 days of fasting and prayer, she ran through the rain to the Great throne room and fell at the feet of her king as all her accusers shouted to the king, but the king had mercy and love for her and he held out his scepter to save her. It’s such a wonderful example of our Lord Jesus Christ who saves us, even today ❤️

chipo m..The mystery was revealed through Jesus' coming. Through one man's disobedience death through sin entered the world (Romans 5:12), Mordecai's (one man) disobedience leads a whole nation to destruction (Esther 3:2).I believe Esther's going in to the king and putting her life on the line (Esther 4:16 - If I perish I perish) to enter the inner courts of the king was symbolic of the death of Christ to enter the inner courts of God. She went in to plead for her people..Jesus (who was fully human) entered to plead for humanity. The devil lost just as Haman did. The king gives Haman's wealth to Esther who in turn puts Mordecai incharge of it, God gave all authority to Jesus (Matthew 11:27,John 3:35), and Jesus gave us this authority. Then the King takes the signet ring He reclaims from Haman and gives it to Mordecai. I believe the devil can no longer appear before God to accuse us but we are urged to enter the throne of God with confidence/boldness (Heb rews 4:16)....and a lot more than I can type now. The whole of the old testament basically talks of Christ. So a gospel that is not centered on what Christ did and what that means for us now is not the the real gospel.

I've watched this movie so many times, it doesn't get old! Queen Esther's clothes are gorgeous! And so much chemistry between her and the king . yes very excellent plot but one that tells a story of a great nation, the one that God loved and made His own. the story of Israel in the natural but also in the spirit. 1 PETER 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. This story is so beautiful with so many lessons. Lessons about the long lasting consequences of disobedience, the importance of loving God and having faith beyond rational reasoning, and learning that God creates opportunities for true love.

Somebody has been reading, studying, and has fallen so much in love with the Bible. I like writing,and I can tell you how much time, effort and energy you put in one story. There's no way someone will just read the story and come up with such a beautiful movie. And everything is so true. The love between the King and queen was that strong if you read the Bible. So to the writer, director of this movie, I SALUTE YOU! a great job done. When I tell people the Bible is love letter, they don't believe me. There are so much more love stories in it. Love,love love this. God sure is love 💕

I agree with you. The Bible is a story of Love. It is the unfolding of God's love for man. But how come they miss reading about Esther's relation with Mordecai? He is not her uncle 4:22. They were cousins. :)

@@newlypaz hi, true they were cousins but Mordecai raised her as his own daughter, so the depiction (calling him uncle) is totally sensible as is also evidenced in other cultures around the globe

Esther is my second favorite story in the Bible (the story of Joseph is my first), but I'm still not gonna watch this, because the only Esther movie that I absolutely LOVE is the one with Jen Lilley playing Esther. It's on Pureflix, but I cancelled that and wanted to see it again on KZfaq and I can't find it!

Growing up a Sunday school child, the story of Esther was my favorite. The first time i watched this movie was when i was a young boy in the university. Every year i make sure i read this story or watch this movie. And i always cry when i either read the story of watch the movie. My understanding is that, No matter the size of opposition against us, there is always a deliverance for those who keep trusting in God. God’s mercy terminate messy situation

I love this movie too. I wish it had gone like this in real life. Unfortunately, all the women including Esther had to sleep with the king first. Esther was chosen and all the other women became concubines since they wouldn't be able to find a husband afterwards.

When the Lord puts you in a position that will serve His purpose not only in your life but in others lives too, it is the greatest honour to be used by Him. Ester had to be brave and have faith that God would give her favour and she still speaks to us 2000 years down the passage of time to be children of God with noble characters and to stand up like David against the Goliath's of this world. I just loved this movie and I love the Bible even more because there are many such stories that speak of God's faithful ness and love to those who put their trust in the Lord God Almighty, the ruler of Heavens Armies!

I think this is about the 5th time I've seen this movie and I just love it so much!! God knows the beginning from the end and He raised up Esther for a moment such as that. We are all raised up for a moment but most turn away from it.

Dont forget to read your bibles people. This depiction of the story is not completely accurate. Neyman did not threaten or attact or mock Esther after she revealed herself to the King. He pleaded for his life but due to hia desperation the King thought he was assaulting her. There are other inconsistencies also. READ YOUR BIBLE!!!

The right actor(Esther) for this movie...so pure and cheerful...I learnt...know God and he would direct you, Education..seek knowledge..Carry yourself well/know your worth...Be kind and leave the rest for The Lord... What a well done movie! This story is so rich with meaning and lessons. The love story of Esther and the king is beautiful, but pales in comparison to Gods love for us-His precious people. Because God loved us even when we did not love Him, and chased after us, literally pouring out all of heavens riches through the gift of His Son. Who does that? I cannot wait to spend eternity by His side.

Her name is Hadassah. Everyone keeps calling her Esther. Her uncle gave her that name to disguise her Jewishness. Her true name from her parents is Hadassah. Thankfully she was able to tell her husband the king who she really was, and about her people. Amen

Indeed when one takes a stand for God, there will be an impact. This version of Esther displayed a love story between a King and Queen and the principles of honor, wisdom, patience and faithfulness. I generally enjoy this movie and I love the song that comes on when Esther is crowned Queen.

What I love about Esther's life and purpose is, this was deeper than love, it was purpose. Every thing in our lives from where we live to who we marry has purpose. It's never for no reason. Even trails... The Bible says, All things work together for the Good of those who love God and who are the called according to His purpose. We're called. There's a purpose for everything. ❤

I have just seen this movie for the first time an hour ago on the TBN channel. I stopped everything I was doing because the movie was so good. I always knew of the story, but to see it visually was amazing. I ama going to get this movie and add it to my top 10 list. It is great to see Christian movie productions. My top 10 list includes " The Ten Commandments".

I love the story of how Tommy Tenney's wife wrote the chorus to the title song after a beautiful move of God's Spirit in a church service.... From what I understand, that was the starting point that led to the book, then this movie. 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
