Could you talk on the link between ego death through 5meo dmt and how these sufis may have reached similar states. Regular dmt also leads to seeing entities etc. Would these sufis have taken physo active herbs which would lead them to describe jinn etc. What kind of "stuff" were these sufis tripping on. Syrian rue is well known to open up the physco receptors in the brain.... And rumi spoke of the peganum seeds Are there any other links?

It is not that avoided in Syria or Lebanon (given we not only are secular states but tend to be varied in interpretations of Islam), again the Arab world is a socio-cultural term only connected by region and shared language. “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” That idea has helped me understand how the ancient thinkers viewed occultism, basically as ‘an advanced technology’, which is why so many of them saw occultism as morally bad sometimes or good other times - cuz technology isn’t intrinsically positive morally

I guess just like betting wins, if let loose inthe end it destroys society because others my misuse and who knows what that might lead to!!!. But it's interesting stuff if you get to grasp it.

Magic being forbidden in Islam is not controversial , *the Qur'an literally states that it's forbidden*
@alexxlarx224
@alexxlarx224 2 жыл бұрын
Assalamou 3alayka It categorocly true that "sihr" is forbidden in islam as it lead to "chirk" (meaning worshiping another being or concepte that is not god ). The sirh or magic or as i like to call it dark psycologiy and hypnosys may have a devastating outcom on both the practitionner "saher" and the target or prey. But this kind of manipulation of reality (i am sorry for quoting the video) can be achieved in numerous ways, all depending on the wielder's intetion and clarity of mind. If the mind and the body are pure, "suffy" magic can have a number outcoms such as healing of physical and mental ailements, purification from the demonic magic, deep understanding of the universe "al ulum al khafiya", clarity and awareness and many more such metaphysical feets. The word magic has been holywooded for so many years, and it does not mean what the video games and movies depict, one cannot pull a fireball for thin air. But one can invent the lighter and lighter fluid, this in a sens is magic, only things that exist CAN be turned into something else. The laws of thermodynamics can never be broken in any means; (Hey there is still a lot of wiggle room, you after all are reading this on as very powerfull magical device) All i mean to say is that magic is not really as stupid as it is in your mind, what is broken can be mended and what is a strong oak tree can be fell, although not with with your bare hands. Miracles are still possible with the power of the human brain. Just look at newyork .If that's not magic then i don't know what is. THX FOR REEAAADING HAVE A BLESSED DAY SPELL ON ME $$$$$$$$$$$$$
@edenhart7313
@edenhart7313 2 жыл бұрын
@@alexxlarx224 your thinking maybe right in a way as you try to deviate in a positive view of it. But what has been forbidden is stated in the Quran and will be taken as is the law set by god. The reason has been given by itself in the term 'Shirik' and has been put as the highest form of sin that even god doesn't forgive. That aside if you do research in the word 'Magic' itself, it will appear in many different countries and in different languages in almost similar pronunciation and connotation. The word 'magic' will always mean and derive from the word 'demon' and 'way' or 'technique'. As you have said sufism mysticism may also be seen as magic but it actually isnt. Using the words from Quran itself has its own 'power' given by god to one who prays and ask from him as He is the all merciful and the bestower. When it comes to magic even though God wills one his powers that he asks for even if it's from Demons. You have to acknowledge that the one the magician is asking for power from is from a demon and not god. Do note that the magician doesn wield the powers by himself. He is actually contractually summoning and using the help from a Jin or demon and unseen by normal sight it is seen as magic.

This was heavily informative and eye-opening video especially to someone who is a Muslim! I've grown up with very limited knowledge about this part of Islam as it's often looked down upon from the mainstream Muslim community as backward, illiterate and Shirk. Which actually ends up closing all conversations and topics around some of these practices. Some of these practices linked to Sufism are still found in South Asian regions as well. But I've never had the chance to know the background/history of how these practices originated. Honestly very excited and intrigued to watch more of your videos!

When I was very young my grandfather told me that there was some hidden science in Islam. When my grandfather died, his wife (who was his second wife, not my grandmother) gave me a manuscript written by the father of my grandfather written, in 1923, probably near Tlemcen (west of Algeria). I don't read arabic, thus I am not able to say what it contains (and I didn't share it with no one). This manuscript is full of strange tables which contains arabic letters, and some other geometrical drawing. When I listen to you, I wonder what kind of things interested him ! @@uxoriousss I'm sorry but I will have to agree with the christian brother here, dua is prayer, magic is not, there is no such thing as 'good' magic in islam. If something unexplainable happens after you make a dua, that is called a miracle, not magic. As the brother said, magic is relying on the power of spirits/jinn to do things for you which is blatant shirk. Relying on anything other than the Almighty God is shirk. Anyone who claims magic as some part of islam is making a major mistake. Please be careful of what you say about islam, otherwise you might drive away more people from it.

We have been deprived of our own heritage and sciences and powers. The western invasions have ripped us of our heritage and stolen our knowledge. They also planted some retards as religious figures who basically dictate us on what we can or cannot study or think about. It’s all so clear now.

Before any Muslim begets the impression that this is a blasphemous subject, please look into our Quran a little deeper to understand how occultism, alchemy, science, and magic were addressed in many different verses and was a tradition amongst some of the prophets, the leading example being King Solomon, who spoke the language of the birds, controlled the jinn, had the power to summon the wind, and understood the language of the ants. Moreover, if we want to learn the finest knowledge from the best of the Islamic scholars, we should look towards the forefathers of modern science who are from the Islamic golden age. These are the scholars within the Islamic world who set the standard with breakthrough discoveries and advancements, who are a powerhouse of knowledge, and wisdom. Peace and blessings unto all.

I am not arguing that it's blasphemy or not because I don't really care But what you just said simply isn't true . Solomon in islam wasn't just a king like in the old testament he was a prophet who done miracles not magic. That's the islamic view of solomon . Islam like the other abrahamic religions dont condone magic But yes there is an occult and magic books and rituals in islamic history like Shams al-Ma'arif or elawfaq But that doesn't mean it's accepted by islam or lets say mainstream islam .
@ODaher11
@ODaher11 2 жыл бұрын
@@valardohaeris2042 I don’t think you properly understood my comment. Solomon was both a prophet and a king and is referred to as both in the Quran. I chose to use the title king instead of prophet, but that isn’t relevant to the point that I was making, which was that there are a lot of misunderstood topics and subjects in modern and conventional Islam that are inherent within the religion. Take for instance the story of Moses and his staff, the Egyptian magicians tried to mimic Gods miracles with false magic. Their magic was of course dissolved by Allahs might that he showed through Moses. So in essence I am trying to point to how the world of the supernatural was a common thing amongst God and his prophets.

Thank you so much 🙏🏼 In my view, there are 2 reasons that black magic is prohibited in islam. The first reason is because people started using it to harm others. The other reason is because learning magic leads gradually to polytheism and eclipse us from our essence. It seems that Islam prohibits things only because they harm ourselves/others or eclipse us from our essence. This is just a reflection, I might be wrong. 🌷 Edit: Most Sufi muslims avoid magic because they know it can be a veil especially to the weak heart.

"Arab uprising will spark global unrest - Italy will trigger fall out" "Many events, including ecological upheavals, wars, the schism in My Church on Earth, the dictatorships in each of your nations - bound as one, at its very core - will all take place at the same time." The Book of Truth

Matthew Melvin-Khoushki for a wealth of scholarship in this world. His quote that I use a lot: "Pandemics make magic great again." World Pythagoreanism is the real undercurrent of Natural Religion. It moves among monotheisms too.

Just to ad something about Sabeans mentioned in the Qur'an. the Sabeans in the Qur'an are actually Mandaeans living in Southern Iraq Arabs called them Sabeans because of their ritual namely baptism in water (Arabic: Subba) the other people of Harran were definitely Hermeticists who proclaimed themselves as Sabeans and they were often called "Sabeans of the north" . they claimed that they followed the teachings of Hermes as their prophet what Muslims kind of recognized because he is motioned in the Qur'an as Prophet Idris ( probably biblical Enoch).

There are many different groups who have been identified with the Sabeans, primarily these two. At the end of the day, no one really knows for sure who the Qu'ran is referring to.
@als1438
@als1438 2 жыл бұрын
@@LetsTalkReligion True. But there is some kind of consensus about them so they are identified with primarily Mandaeans what makes sense because they follow as they claim the teachings of John the Baptist known in the Qur'an as Yahya who is seen in Islam as an important prophet. Talking about dream interpretation this is actually part of Islamic belief throughout the time and different branches of Islam from Sufis and other more esoteric groups to most exoteric like Wahhabis. this is because there is an authentic Hadith where prophet says: The Dream (but if its from God we need to somehow recognize it) is 45th part of prophethood , so every soul is connected to god ant there is certain kind of communication and sending messages. these are visionary dreams , other dreams are seen as something that reflects our daily life experiences or they can be demonic like nightmares and so called sleep paralysis known also as demonic attack. This is by the great short lecture on this topic and I'm glad that someone made a video exploring "Secret /occult sciences" in the Islamic world in the so called golden age. Interesting fact what they considered magic those days we recognize it as pure science today :) for example using herbs to heal certain health problems is a part of pharmacy today.

@@LetsTalkReligion so the Sabian were Star worshippers, I wonder if they knew that the stars and planets all speak when you play their names backwards, even the constellations of the zodiac has something to say when you add the month they fall on. You find Eve hiding in the center of 7 between the S"N, the words " Sin Eve" play Backwards will say Venus, the words "New Womb" will say Moon, and the words "Here Ra Come" will say Mercury, here's a little bit of what the months and zodiac say, use the words "Her Mistress Boy Girl" to Echo Virgo September, the words "Her Birth God Heartbeat" will Echo Libra October, now use "Her Bid One Wise Folk" to Echo Scorpio November, and now the month they say Jesus was born in, "Her Message Say There Is A Guest" this will Echo Sagittarius December, the planet speak of a sexual act in the months and constellations of the zodiac of a birth, and if you know the proper order to read the Stars they tell a Story too.
