Intoxication disturbs your connection with Allah. The more you purify, both mentally and physically, the more you grow in awareness of Allah. This is the reason why some things are prohibited in Islam, but generally the rules are still very mild. I believe living a more ascetic lifestyle is the absolute key to spiritual growth

Saying that Ibn Hazam allowed music, is not completely true. In fact, Ibn hazam could not verify the authenticity of a Hadith, to which the scholars refer to forbid music. Nevertheless, he literally stated that if later we can verify the authenticity of this Hadith, then I withdraw my statement. The Hadith was later verified to be authentic.

I find it very fascinating how religions developed over time with their rich diversity while still sharing a common denominator in the big picture. @Phillip do you plan to dive more into buddhism and how these teachings connect to the other mystical tradition? I've tried to find other channels but haven't found one that explains the different sub schools and their developement over time. Much appreciation ❤ If anybody else know a source please let me know :)

Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious to us; he sets himself against our doings, Reproaches us for transgressions of the law and charges us with violations of our training. He professes to have knowledge of God and styles himself a child of the LORD. To us he is the censure of our thoughts; merely to see him is a hardship for us, Because his life is not like other men's and different are his ways. He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts that God is his Father. Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will happen to him. For if the just one be the son of God, he will defend him and deliver him from the hand of his foes. With revilement and torture let us put him to the test. That we may have proof of his gentleness and try his patience. Let us condemn him to a shameful death; for according to his own words, God will take care of him. These were their thoughts, but they erred; for their wickedness blinded them, And they knew not the hidden counsels of God; neither did they count on a recompense of holiness nor discern the innocent souls reward. For God formed man to be imperishable; the image of his own nature he made him. But by envy death entered the world, and they who are in his possession experience it. But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, to himself. In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble; They shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord shall be their King forever. Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love; Because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with his elect. But the wicked shall receive a punishment to match their thoughts, since they neglected justice and forsook the Lord. For he who despises wisdom and instruction is doomed. Vain is their hope, fruitless are their labors, and worthless are their works. But you have disposed all things by measure and number and weight. For with you great strength abides always; who can resist the might of your arm? Indeed, before you the whole universe is as a grain of sand from a balance, or a drop of morning dew come down upon the earth. But you have mercy on all, because you can do all things; and you overlook the sins of men that they may repent. For you love all things that are and loathe nothing that you have made; for what you hated, you would not have fashioned.. and how could a thing remain, unless you willed it; or be preserved, had it not been called forth by you? But you spare all things, because they are yours, O Lord and lover of souls, For your imperishable spirit is in all things! Therefore you rebuke offenders little by little, warn them, and remind them of the sins they are committing, that they may abandon their wickedness and believe in you, O LORD! let the last word be , he is all in all ! Let us praise him the more, since we cannot fathom him, for greater is he than all his works; Awful indeed is the LORD's majesty, and wonderful is his power. Lift up your voices to glorify the LORD, though he is still beyond your power to praise; Extol him with renewed strength, and weary not, though you cannot reach the end: For who can see him and describe him? Or who can praise him as he is? Beyond these, many things lie hid; only a few of his works we seen. And to those who revere him he gives wisdom. Sing Hallelujah kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nqiZq9yWlcitk4k.html Jesus O Savior I know not if you are real Come Come live in me .. Save me Amen and Amen Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say. "Come." Let the hearer say, "Come." Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants receive the gift of life giving water.

"When this man's (the prophet) existence comes about, he must lay down laws about men's affairs by the permission of God, exalted be He, by His command, inspiration and 'the descent of the Holy Spirit' on him [Qur'an 16:102]. The first principle governing his legislation is to let them know that they have a Maker, One and Omnipotent; that 'He knows the hidden and the manifest' [Qur'an 16:19]; that obedience to His command is His due, for 'command must belong to Him who creates' [Qur'an 7:54'; that He has prepared for those who obey Him and aferlife of bliss, but, for those who disobey Him, an afterlife of misery, that that the multitude will hear and obey the decrees put in the prophet's mouth by God and the angels." - Ibn Sina (Kitab al-Shifa', Metaphysics, Book 10, Chapter 2)

I feel like the most symbolic would be kissing on the head/forehead as like a blessing or caring/doting father might do with their child. A lot of the 'gnostic' texts specifically diverge from the literal interpretations so if there was a rite, I don't think it has to be some kind of sexual thing necessarily especially when elsewhere in the gospel of philip it says: "The bridal chamber is not for the animals, nor is it for the slaves, nor is it for the sons, but it is for the free men and the virgins." (Philip 69:1-4) "If anyone becomes a son of the bridal chamber, he will receive the light." (Philip 69:14-16). Bizarre, and perhaps somewhat contradictory but indeed, though historically much later on, various supposed Alchemists and Occult philosophers around the 14-17th century and even more recently scholars of Jungian psychology have made reference to the 'holy matrimony' as a kind of inner spiritual union of the male-female dichotomy as anima and animus or of mercury and sulfur, sun and moon, etc etc (supposedly in creation of the philosopher's stone, elixir of life or the 'true' magnum opus/master work: the Rebis). These alchemical writers saw the Holy Matrimony as a symbol of the ultimate goal of alchemy, which is to achieve spiritual transformation and Self-realization through the union of opposites. The Rebis, representing the androgynous or hermaphroditic state, is seen as the ultimate expression of this union. I definitely wonder how much these similarities about the union of opposites in occult and alchemical writings might have perhaps been influenced by earlier teachings somehow or at minimum seem fascinatingly coincidental.

I love your channel. You do a fantastic job of it giving us great information Most of us don’t have time to look into but this particular woman, and you mentioned you keep mentioning the church. The Catholicism isn’t Christian. They’re not the church and never have been Christian. They never will be. None of their dog was found in the Bible and I mean the Bible, I mean, the king James version which is the authorized version for the English speaking people no books like it. I mean, it spits the most published disseminator book ever written and it’s fabulous. All the other versions are just chill corrupt I mean it’s Alex it just garbage in the hole versus the king James diminished the king James version will say the Lord Jesus Christ and the other version will just say Christ which Christ you’re talking about the antichrist probably but anyway this poor woman Christians don’t burn anybody anybody at the stake I mean the Cath I guess said Catholicism isn’t Christian. There is no dogma Catholic dogma found in the Bible the Eucharist. The Trinity is not in the Bible. The Trinity is in a biblical concept that was ratified to 325 A.D. at the council and I see the pagan called called Catholicism, which is demonic to the core like I said I don’t know if any dog is found in the Bible the Eucharist robes, the beads, the mumbo-jumbo, but none of it’s biblical none of it so to call Catholicism the church.

@@aranciataesagerata2506 God being referred to as a "He" is usually simply a result of the semitic languages not having a neutral pronoun (like "it" in english), so the standard or neutral way to refer to, for example, a chair is "he". And many translators will simply follow this directly. In all of the Abrahamic religions, God is considered to be beyond gender, neither male or female but transcendent of any such categories. And the Ein Sof is no different.

I understand now why these books are not in the Bible, they can be misinterpreted are not complete in explaining and understanding and although sounds similar yet can be misleading. We know that God is in us he is omnipresent and omnipotent that is way he is everywhere especially in us that is why the disciples were able to heal, like Jesus, did. It’s his Holy Spirit living in us. And yes we all children of God. Also when the disciples asked when would be the coming of Christ he said that is for God to know we do not need to know we just have to be ready. God is intentional and all powerful he knows what he was doing when the Bible was put together, he says it’s the living word of God 🙏🏻 following and having a relationship with Christ is not that complicated we make it complicated. And if there is no heaven or life after then why did Jesus claim that to the sinner who acknowledged him on the cross, he would be in heaven with him? The story alone of the two sinners on the cross represents so much those that refuse to believe and those who acknowledge him and accept him it’s one or the other.

Question: does this argument refute the claim of a trinitarian god or rather not able to prove that claim? Because if there are three separate beings in the godhead, granted a christian might say the three of them all just one divine being (trinity in itself deserves a video of it’s own). But would this mean that those three people are in nature contingent and therefore not necessary beings and by this nature don’t have to exist? As a muslim I’m not necessarily saying that that god doesn’t exist, I’m saying that if this would be a proof of god then it wouldn’t apply to a god that exists in a trinity.

I don’t see why it is so good not much info not in full so it can be misinterpret because it is missing a great part of the main context. Almost sounds like a Buddha theology of enlightenment. Confusing because it makes it seem like we have the power to save our souls. I don’t know about you guys but I can work on myself and yes feel at peace at times and even stay away from evil doings but someone or somewhere I fail again. I think the text is saying he in us will save our soul. Do not focus or seek the worldly things for those things will perish but our soul is everlasting our body will return to dust like Genesis says but our soul is what will be in heaven if we follow him. That’s what I get from the Bible and hearing this small text
