Thankfully for the US, one of the eligibility criteria is that prospective candidates have to have spent 14 consecutive years as a resident. So, maybe when he's more mop than man.

It seems absurd, but tBoris would probably have a reasonable shot at the Presidency right now. In the US, he'd be considered center-right (which is what the country desperately wants right now, because the center-left decided to just dump the "center" part, and the far right is more insane than ever ... so the only sane option is the center-right), he has more international experience than anyone he would be running against, and he's coming off a big win because he handled the Russia-Ukraine war brilliantly. So how hard would it be for him to beat the likes of DeSantis? I mean I get it, originally there would be a reluctance, because he's not American, he's only eligible to run in the US on a technicality, but what would happen after a couple of debates? It's a bonafide world leader (a charismatic one at that) against some local politician. Also, this is less of an outlandish suggestion than someone let's say 8 years ago predicting that the guy from The Apprentice is gonna become President.
