I agree. The only exception to that rule (which is not the case here) would be moving into Grandma's house to take care of her medical issues while hubby worked out of town. Saw it in my family with a cousin of mine, though they paid their own way until my grandma accepted being moved into a retirement home.

I wouldn't leave my permanent family members for a girlfriend. I wouldn't that for my husband. When he is arguing with a family member, I listen to him so he is heard.
