My wife was a McDonald's manager for years. They used to be on the lookout for secret shoppers who were acting like normal drive thru customers but they actually were McDonalds cooperate workers lol. The awkwardness by many workers was because they probably thought they were being tested.

Hey Ken, would love to see you do a frugality challenge. Go to several different restaurants and try to get a meal for $5 (or $6?) or less, and see how it works out. Must have at least a sandwich and a drink, side would be preferable, but just see how far you can stretch a dollar!

For Dairy Queen, it used to be Popcorn Shrimp basket. Not only was it the worst thing I ordered at Dairy Queen, it was one of the worst fast food items I ever ordered. It literally tasted like they took shrimp from a can and breaded it with no seasoning. The cocktail sauce was overpowered with horseradish sauce and did nothing to improve the flavor. It also tasted like it was past expiration, but luckily I didn't get sick.

Dairy Queen has an excellent "Flamethrower Burger" Ken. Have you tried it yet? It is really really good. It's one of the best burgers that I've ever had.

Wow, that A&W tomato was the most picture perfect tomato I have ever seen. Perfectly round, evenly sliced, no tomato goo from the insides squishing out.

My first job was at DQ and The Banana Split Blizzard was the bane of my existence. It has way to many moist toppings and the majority of people put the full amount you would for a one topping of a blizzard that size for EVERY TOPPING! You would think they would realize to quarter the ratios. We had one new guy try to do the flip upside down on a large and fell out all over the counter.

I feel attacked. Meximelts are my favorite! Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore in the US so I have to ask for a cheesy roll up with meet and pico added.... wish i could just say meximelt, so i don't have to explain it every time. 😒

I love breakfast burritos but people who don't like it tend not to like it because sometimes the sausage can be a little spicy or peppery. I usually do the 1 burrito meal (on the till but not on the menu). I actually miss their fajitas. Other than the Big Mac, they were my all-time favourite menu item!
