I miss long johns. It was a staple as a kid. Then it became a rare treat cuz they closed so many locations. Our location burned down. Turned out to be insurance fraud.

David Urdahl ours just closed. I was shocked. I thought they were busy enough. I am vegan now but I loved their breaded chicken out of any fast food’s chicken.

sadly LJS is suffering from hard times, their trademark Cod has only risen in price over the years, so they switched to a cheaper fish and made Cod a specialty item, since doing that they lost a chunk of their fanbase and the economy has not made it any easier on them cause their food is pricey compared to other fast food offerings.

Dumpster dive! I lived on Little Ceasars dumpster pizza back in 1994... Milwaukee, Wisconsin . They had to throw out any pizza left in the warmer for pick up after an hour. My apt was right across the road from one. And i had 6 roomates.... 2 br apt We were skater punks fighting the system. Partying to much. But Little Ceasars always had hot dumpster pizza. I have money now, but I miss dumpster days.

Long John Silver’s isn’t too bad. FRESHly made chicken planks and FRESHly made hush puppies are the key...I’m just saying. Always greasy and extra napkins are a must...especially in an establishment where fried fish/fried food is highlighted.
