Good Review, I can really appreciate the fact that you are using quality products like Leupold who give a lot back to the community of marksman and hunters (unlike the old products you use to rep) The 7mm is an amazing caliber for all Big Game hunters. If you ever want to come to Washington and try out the 24x and get to know your rifle better feel free to come see Papa... ;)

Yeah man my entire line of glass is Leupold now and I can’t complain but I’m always looking for good product. And I may have to take you up on that! But I’m for sure flying

Thank you. It is my understanding that “holding over” is only accurate at the highest magnification range on a (2nd focal plane) scope. Dialing is accurate at any magnification setting on a 2nd focal plane scope. When using a first focal plane scope....using your retical to hold over is accurate at any magnification setting. I like the 4-12 in this scope. Gonna get one. Well done on the vid Sir. Subscribed

Hey Scott thanks for watching the video! 👍🏼 and I appreciate you subscribing. So, you are partially right about holdovers as they do change with a 2nd focal plane scope based on what magnification you’re on UNLESS you use a ballistics calculator. Which I do and it will tell you the different holds, at different distances, at different magnifications. 👍🏼 Strelok Pro is a great one and SBC Light.

Every one is different. For me even at less than 200 yards it would be fine the leupolds I have are 9 10 & 14 power they rarely come below max magnification no matter the distance. So something as low as 8 would be fine. I’m not crazy about all the lines is the reticle but am considering buying one. To me it seems Tough to beat for the price

So I do appreciate it having the MIL hashes on the X and Y axis because I don’t always dial out to distance. They only complaint really is I wish I would have gotten FFP!

@@huntingtheoutdoors I just have standard crosshairs now, I have just raised up and shot a little. But it doesn’t always work.

Good review man. I did this. The scope looks amazing but probably a bit high powered for my liking.

Yeah that’s the one issue I’ve heard back from people is it wouldn’t be practical for everyone’s use. But 🤷🏼‍♂️ those long range comp guys will probably dig it!

What app do you use to set your scope up?

Do you mean like a ballistics app? If so, I use Strelok Pro and SBC light! Great, super user friendly apps. 👍🏼
