I'm driving a 2018 STX supercrew 4X4. I'm looking really hard at that 2.25" readylift. I plan to keep my factory 20" wheels and go from stock 32" tires to 33" K02's. What I would really love to see is you guys take one of these trucks with the 2.25" readylift and do some off-roading with it.

I went with a 3” suspension on my 2019 F-150 and running a 20x10 impact wheel with -12 offset and a 33x12.50 fallen wild peak all terrain. Tire sticks out one full tread past my fender with no rub at full turn.

These are all nice trucks but it'd be worth mentioning as you go that the crash bars have been removed and/or cut on a few of these for fitment. I'm not opposed because I removed them on mine and I understand it's necessary in some applications but it could open you up to a liability.

On my 2019 F150 XLT FX4 - I just did a 2.5" front end MAMMOTH LEVEL KIT (google it) - bought on line for $99.95 -- my local guy put it in for $200 flat -- total of $300 and works great. Did an alignment check afterwards and spot on -- steering wheel still straight. I debated doing an actual lift kit, but that was another approx $2k more... I'll live with this leveling kit -- makes the truck much nicer, AND I do have to jump up a little bit to get into it now -- looks more like an F250.

I haven't found one video on KZfaq showing the end height with a suspension kit with common tire sizes. Which is 33 or 35 sometimes 37s.

How large and wide of a tire can I run on a stock suspension? I use it for towing so keeping it stock for now. It came with 265/75/18. Also keeping the 18 in wheels.

I enjoyed your video. I have a 2017 King Ranch that hasn't given me a lick of problems. I'm thinking about either buying a newer truck or customize what I have. That might include bigger pipes, More aggressive tires and wheels. Wider Wheels that match the bronze on the King ranch truck. Higher stance and wider tires. Suggestions?

If you are towing anything you don’t want your truck perfectly level because when you load the back end it’s going to sit high up front.

When you say minor trimming, are you including the crash bar removal in that as well?

jpat99 depending on the offset of the wheel and tire size will determine whether crash bars will need to be removed.

Wild Willies Custom Accessories Thanks much for the video. A lot of good examples of what you accomplish with a leveling kit. I’m currently running a 2.5 inch BDS level kit on my 2020 F150 lariat crew cab 4x4. Looking to get some Fuel Mavericks 20x9 with a +1 offset paired with 295/60 r20 Toyo open country at3s. Any idea if that setup would fit without cutting if crash bars? Looks like your covert trucks are pretty much in line with what I want to do here so hoping you can provide some insight. Thanks again for putting this content out. Def the best I’ve seen that helps us rookies understand our options.

If you plan on ever offroading DO NOT use those hockey puck spacer leveling kits. Get a leveling spring over those spacers...

They're Raptor take off. Those are the Raptor beadlock rim and BFGoodrich All Terrain 315/70r17.

Why did the 4" BDS lift truck not hv the BDS cut outs Showing BDS????? Never seen one!!!🤔🤔🤔 BDS is by far the best lift kit and the most comfortable ride. Pluss they over build for strength and garanty their parts for life. Pluss they proudly display their BDS logo on that Cross member. So what's up??????

Do those “ brand new trucks “ come with a Ford factory warranty “ with the crash bar hacked off of it like those had ?? You keep saying minor plastic trimming, but you don’t ever say that you hacked the crash bar off of them ! Which is a big safety so the wheel and tire won’t go into the floorboard on a front impact . Not trying to be an ass , but i just hope you actually tell the new owners that that it’s modified to that extent.

Y’all ripped the crash bars out of every one of those. That’s how you’re able to run the tire sizes that are on there. 35’s do not fit without a lift. Negative offset wheels rub without a 4in lift minimum. You cannot just to a level kit without ripping out the crash bars.

I call the 'leveling kit' a squatting kit. the second you put something in the bed or tow even a light trailer, your truck's butt will look like it is dragging.

Unless you match the lift with the rear blocks to obtain the rake. Thats what i did on my 06. 3.5 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. But I also had to upgrade my upper control arms. The factory upper control arms suck with any level lift or spacer lift.
