Күн бұрынyo! alotta people ive seen seem to struggle a bit with the movement so i wanted to make sure you guys had some tips to work with so you can get more comfortable with stepping and experimenting on your own!

That’s actually hella helpful. I felt like I didn’t wanna sidestep bc I didn’t wanna get clipped. But understanding where to sidestep is helpful has hell. I also am really glad you explained the extended hurtbox concept where you need to confirm whiff before you punish bc I have struggled with that for a while and get it now. Hold this W

I literally am trying to get better at movement cause it's what I've been hearing everyone say that is something you have to learn to be good at Tekken. "It's a 3-D game...use it", but now I can understand it a lot better thanks to this video. Is the same thing you were talking about on the last gameplay review you did and I was gonna talk about it there. You can do crazy stuff with acid rain with jack to the right and the bears both sides, I was in the lab with this before posted what I found.

Also, dont forget about ss df2, the high crush will crush stuff like 1, 1 or df1, 1.

For those that are struggling with sidestepping, you should become familiar with your moves that leave you at -6 or better on block. Throw these moves out to set up your sidestep and see what you're able to get away with. A common setup with Lee is to df1 which is -1 on block, sidestep to make your opponent's retaliation whiff, and then be ready to df2 for a safe launch opportunity. Other Lee moves that can set up SS are 4u3, 1+2, and D3 (on hit). Excellent!

Remember that d3 puts you in crouched which means you can only step one direction, but still great tips!

I know for certain moves you need to ssr or ssl but what if you dont wanna learn every move and which way to sidestep it what option shouls be the main direction you sidestep?

Each character is weak to different sides. For example lee you side step right, against mishimas you step left, against jin you step right, if you look up online theres a graph that shows you which direction each character is weak too!

Depends on what youre trying to step, some things can only be walked or stepped, but blocking after stuff is generally good yes haha.

Uhhhhhhhh i don't remember but im pretty sure its from Tekken 6 or 5. I used the jukebox mode to change the songs so its all in game and you should be able to find it

It's called "Estrada da Estrella" specifically from Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. You can find it in the jukebox towards the bottom of the Tekken 5 tracks.

Yeah same, and being hit confirmable it was hella nice. Feel like that move kinda got gutted expecially since b112 is 14 frames now, why use it.

@@DUCATIIVERSOL yes, but of course you would be holding yourself back. But you can play any character how you want and if you put in the work you can make it work. Maybe just come back to lee later on, y'know? Its all up to you ;)
