Love our 2018 ZR2 V6, prefer the old grill vs the new one. We kept the stock stance, and we like the front lean better then leveled out. My girlfriend's big complaint was the "cheap" interior. Fords worth $20k less has stitched leather dash and door panels. But we bought it for the exterior design and the off road features, especially the front locker. As for issues, only the trans shudder and it was fixed easily with a flush and the improved fluid. Handled better then a Tacoma TRD Pro with $6500 worth of upgrades, and even the Jeep owners were impressed with it's capabilities. (And we used to have a Wrangler, and Jeep clubs are normally snubs about stock, let alone non-Jeep products!)

I have a ZR2 also leveled with 33s. Use it offroad camping, and drive 700 miles a week highway and average 25 mpg! 40k miles 0 issues.

The grille on the zr2 is very nice :)

Ben there is now a 2021 ford explorer timberline edition if the vehicle is in stock for you. Tbh it ill be cool to compare it with a regular explorer

The people who get ZR2s/AT4s and don't go off-road are the same ones who wear Timberlands but never go hiking.

What size was the leveling kit, 1 1/4"? Love my 2020.

Just bought this exact truck but in that gun metal type gray.

What size are the BFG KO2's? Are they larger than the stock 265/65/17 Duratrac's? Also, which leveling kit did you use on this truck?

Only thing I would change about this whole truck is the paint job white vehicle seen that hat paint flakes off and chip the older it gets and it shows a lot of dirt

Ben did this truck have tire rub at all with the 275/70/17 with the level kit? I’m assuming it wasn’t trimmed at all

Dealers are selling these at a 15-20k markup right now; if it were up to me I’d definitely look at getting this for my Tacoma. Just gotta wait the market out for now 😁

Pushed our trucks to the limit on Drummond Island, broke a CV and had a great time figuring out how to get home. Always a great time out on the trails. Drummond Island is no joke! This was the most difficult trail we have done there to date; Tight Twisties. @

Tell me if I'm wrong for a lot of people they want to go get the newest and latest and greatest truck and spend $50,000 right why don't you go and get maybe instead of a 2021 you get a 2019 model you more than likely going to get the upgraded package and you're going to save money that's the best way to buy a vehicle is getting older model cuz you're going to get more bang for your buck then you will find a brand new

I'd love to get this truck...but Chevy needs to definitely do a redesign. Why are they still using dated shifter and keyed ignition in 2021...

The 2023 better step it up! This truck is extremely outdated. What the truck needs is shocks that don't leak, a tranny that shifts properly, LED headlights, push button start, more camera options, and an upgraded engine with better fuel economy.

For the few “special” people bagging on the interior & saying it’s dated. My question is compared to what? It’s a mid-size truck on par with the Ranger & better than the Tacoma. If you want a posh interior; you’ll need to spend at least +$10K and step up to a Lariat F-150 or Laramie Ram. Maybe do some research on the segment before making an ignorant comment. Heck, Nissan just introduced a new Frontier & the interior is literally no better. Would it be nice to have push button start or more soft materials - sure. However, it’s not a $70K Ford F-150 Platinum … it’s a $45K mid-size. 🤡🌍
