The KV-2 in reality wasn’t *THAT* good as it became obsolete quickly as the soviets made better tanks such as the IS tanks which were better than the KV tanks

this video helped me with biulding acually combat effective tanks in Sprocket, a game about well biulding tanks but that was mainly because you mentioned the triangle.

Sorry to say that, the Iron Triangle was a concept before entering the MBT era, with the start of the Centurion tank the iron triangle became obsolete because the Centurion performed in every way the best compared to other tanks an example for a tank thats between mobility and armor could be the KV-1S

the Iron Triangle still applies heavily to ingame tanks, mostly because of the lack of technological development. While you can, say, compact an autoloader or powertrain to fit more armor, there is a hard limit on these things. Engine development is nonexistent, gun development consists entirely of fitting more powder charges in less time, and improvement in armor physically can’t exist aside from stacking more of it. The game simply has so much less nuance than real life that the “best” tank for a form factor is only marginally better than a fully functional “bad” tank of the same size, whereas in real life a modern Abrams wouldn’t break a sweat dealing with the biggest and baddest of WII designs. No Minecraft tanks will ever be a real MBT, they can only balance the triangle as medium tanks do.

Fences on tanks covering turret back or engine compartments are used as Protection for HEAT ammo, works well principally for RPG that aims to the weakspots cuz is operated by (mostly) trained enemy or for Infra red seeking Missiles that aims to the engine cuz theres hot

Loved the video @qarsan2! Can't wait for the next video man! The Camouflage pattern that you had talked about for the Germans is called the "Ambush Camouflage pattern". It was developed in 1944 After the Allies had Gained Air Superiority and were Blowing Tanks up like shooting Fish in a Barrel. What it was basically was the Dark Yellow from 1942 with Dark Green and Red-Brown Patches over it and each other in some spots and then every so often, there were Some Spots of Dark Yellow on one side of the Colors border and some spots of Red-Brown or Dark Green (Depending upon where the Dark Yellow Spots were) on the Other. By the Autumn of 1944, German Panzer Crews were even Adding Bushes and Tree Branches onto their Tanks to add some extra Camouflage in hopes of making it past the Marauding Allied Fighter-Bombers (or Jabo's (Pronounced YAH-BOH) German) as they moved to the Frontlines. If you're decent with Block Art/Pixel Art, you can use the Maps in Minecraft to Replicate the Pattern a bit more in-depth and simply use the Frame Blocks and Copycat Blocks to take on the Pattern. While it might not work well as Armor, it'll allow you to add a Little extra bit of Detail in your Tanks...... Not that the Size won't help much though LMAO!

I made an Abrams With invincible composite armour on some parts of the front The armour is what i call A.D.O.C. Ancient Debris Obsidian Composite But its super heavy so only some frontal parts of the tank have the full composite It has one big waekness same as any tank and its the relatively thin roof armour making it susceptible to HE to the top of the turret With my testing with AP, HE and APHE The weak points is the lower glacis but i manage to fix that with obsidian behind the relatively soft steel armour blocks But another one of the weaknesses is the vision ports directly under the middle of the turret which i cant find a solution to. But its a pretty small target and the chances of smth actually hitting that is quite unlikely.

Obsidian is worse protection than steel armor, and ancient debris is entirely impervious to cannon fire. You have not innovated anything

How do you avoid the problems that physics has in turrets? for example when a turret for no reason does not rotate or starts to shake. This is the main problem I have when making my own tanks

mostly just make sure the turret ring and basket are clear from obstructions, and also try putting the Phys Bearing into “locked” mode if you’re not already

Weight class has nothing to do with this. You would agree that the low-velocity 75 or 90mm gun on the EBR is a peashooter compared to the 128mm or 183mm on the tanks which I considered to have high firepower
