We’re always one day closer to knowing. Thanks for helping us get there with the whole counsel of God. It’s sad that many people I talk with don’t know what the whole counsel of God is all about but I’m glad that now I can share what it means because I’ve learned about it here. Looking forward to discovering so much more about our sweet savior.

This elaborate system of commands were to create holiness in God’s covenant people. The sanctification process is no less elaborate, in my experience, for a follower of our wonderful Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus. It takes a lifetime to be made aware of the many decisions we make, as human beings born into rebellious humanity, that are motivated by our bondage to sin. While our sin is forgiven, its shackles have not been removed. While we have repented from wilful sin, we have not been freed from its influence yet. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory over it through our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Remarkable how Jesus remained true and unfazed with direct and personal insults, knowing everyone would answer for their own words at the proper time, leaving space for repentance. Outstanding example of trust and faith of what will be.

1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I beg of you, as wayfarers and as foreigners, depart from all these desires of the body that make war against the soul, 12 And let your way of life be beautiful before all children of men, those who speak wicked words of you, that they may see your beautiful works and praise God in the day of examination. 13 Submit to all the sons of men for the sake of God; to Kings, because of their authority, 14 And Judges, because they are sent by him for the punishment of wrongdoers and for the praise of the workers of good. 15 For it is the will of God in this way that by your excellent works you may shut the mouths of fools - those who do not know God, 16 As free children, and not as persons who make their liberty a cloak for their evil, but as Servants of God. 17 Honor every person, love your brethren, worship God and honor Kings. 18 To those who are Servants among you: Submit to your masters in reverence, not only to the good and to the meek, but also to the severe and to the perverse; 19 For such servants have grace before God who, for the sake of a good conscience, endure distresses which come upon them by The Evil One. 20 But what honor is it to those who endure suffering because of their foolishness? But when you do what is good and they afflict you and you endure, then it magnifies your honor with God. 21 For you are called to this, for even The Messiah died for our sake and left us this example, that you would walk in his steps, 22 He who did no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth; 23 He who was insulted and did not insult, and he suffered and did not threaten, but he handed his judgment over to The Judge of righteousness. 24 And he took all of our sins and lifted them in his body to the cross, for as we are dead to sin, we shall live in his righteousness, for by his scars you have been healed. 25 For you had gone astray like sheep, and you have returned now to The Shepherd and The Caregiver of your souls

Matthew 12:19 HE WILL NOT QUARREL, NOR CRY OUT G2051 - erizō G2051 This is not weakness as you perceive, no this is Great restraint, strength. A strength not characterized by common mankind. He Knew who He was, is and always will be.

@Caleb P The compliment I wrote was to Yeshua, for His steadfast ability in self control, fulfilling His Father’s perfect will. (Now read the rest) … knowing everyone would answer for their own words at the proper time… He wishes that all would repent. Yeshua, (Jesus) took action against the money changers and He spoke with authority to those who tested Him because He is authority. Could you have that type of self control if something you created tried testing you? … knowing everyone would answer for their own words at the proper time… Yeshua spoke truth saying He wished that all would repent. That is why while dying He said, Father forgive them for they know not what the do. When He returns, then He will bring the judgement that you are looking forward to. Remember He told Shimon Keipha, (Peter) to put away the sword. Matthew 22:29 Yeshua answered and said to them, “You err, and you do not understand the scriptures and the power of El… 33 And when the people heard this they were amazed at his instruction. Matthew 7:21-29 21 Moreover Yeshua Mashiach said to his talmidim, “Not all those who call me Adon will enter into the heavenly kingdom, but they who do the will of my Father will enter into the heavenly kingdom. 22 In that day many will say, ‘Adon, we were brought in your name and healed the satan-possessed ones, and in your name we did many signs.’ 23 Then he will say to them, that he never knew them: ‘Depart from me guilty ones, full of corruption of heart.’ 24 Every man who - hearing his words - do them, will be like the wise, who founds his house on the established rock. 26 But he who hears my words and does not do them, is like a fool who builds his house on the sand, 27 then there came rains and winds and torrents, and they made it fall with weight.” 28 And when Yeshua Mashiach had spoken these words, the people were astonished by his instruction, 29 for he taught like a powerful one, not like their wise ones and their Perushim. (Translation of Matthew from hebrewgospels.com) The true danger is not following the instruction of our unseen Creator. Please don’t confuse yourself, rather choose forgiveness by repentance and believing in Him who can redeem you by His Son Yeshua Ha Mashiach. He said, they will know you are mine because you will have love, one for another. I pray you will find understanding!)

Jesus hates sin too but NOT the sinner. He forgives us. Even when a saved person sins. Sometimes we fall into sin. Sometimes we know it is wrong. As long as we do not denounce Jesus Christ He continues to forgive and forget. Jesus gives us forgiveness because we are not capable of keeping the commandments. I am a forgiven sinner. Some pastors try to compel people who are saved to be better or Jesus will tell us I DO NOT KNOW YOU. It is not anything we do that causes us to not be part of Christ. Jesus took the guilt of all the sin in the world before during and every single one after His death and resurrection. Thank God endlessly for God's law. If I must I will die for Christ. I am old. But I was willing to die for Christ when I was 11 and someone said communists were invading our country. That they would teach us not to love Jesus or go to Sunday School. The teachers taught us that public school will be awful. We prayed in public school when I was going. When President Kennedy died my class prayed. Each in their own way. Catholics genuflected, Jews spoke Hebrew, Germans called Gott. BUT WE PRAYED. In the late 50's and early 60's prayer had not yet been outlawed. Guess what? It was not communists who kept us from praying, the US government did. We cannot carry a Bible into certain public schools. But Muslims are allowed to bring their Quran.

The only thing I would add is that we are not only to not denounce Jesus but we are to confess our sins and he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1st John 1:9. I used to have trouble with this but then I thought about Jesus telling us that if someone trespasses against us seven times in a day and turns to us and says they repent, how much more does God forgive us if we trespass against him and turn to him and repent. But I thank God that he has also given us the power not to trespass if we allow ourselves to walk and live in the spirit but as I've learned from the studies here and experience, this is a moment by moment decision sometimes if not all the time. Can hardly wait to be delivered from the presence of sin altogether. God bless you and keep you always.

@@nikao7751 Being saved now for over 55 years, I have found that it is much easier to ignore temptation as an elder person than it was when I was young. Problems arise, marriages experience ups and downs. Were it not for Jesus forgiving us we would all be doomed to hell. You are correct too. We sin everyday, whether we know it or not. It is not only the sin of accidentally hurting someone physically but saying a wrong word at the wrong time. We often commit sins of omission rather commission. Every night I ask forgiveness for all the sins I committed that day whether I know it or not. We have to repent and ask for forgiveness. There are sects that believe once forgiven that's it. You never have to say you are sorry for your sins again. Jesus is faithful to forgive 7000 x 7000. Weak humans hurt each other with words more than physical ways but that kind of hurt can do more to "kill"" a person spiritually than a beating. We heal from bruises but dreadful words can scar us for life. So we know we are forgiven but we still ask forgiveness for "THIS DAY'S SIN". I say the Lord's prayer butI change the words we all learned as children and paraphrase so it it not just vain repetition, but a real prayer. God's peace to you sire.

How on the world was an individual able to keep up with all these sacrifices? If each person had to sacrifice for a guilt offering, how did the priests keep up with the 1000s of sacrifices that would be brought to them on a daily basis? I must be missing something because there is no way people could keep up with this pace nor could the priests. Anyone have any insight on this?

Kyle, I think that is the whole point...no individual could keep up. The priests were kept busy, on their feet, changing clothes, constantly...all the washings... including on the sabbath. Good reason to be thankful for the cross and Christ's sacrifice.... "It is finished!"

There are problems here to work out. We are born into self awareness. That is symbolic death because your not talking to God all the time to help make a better judgment. So you loose before you start. The soul is added to the body which is connected to higher awareness but this grows in knowledge through the bodies life cycle. It will be always that we sin. We come from one source both physically and spiritually. So having children is a sin that perpetuates sin. Because we share the common source we sin against each other because we come from the same tree. So Christ took this sin on his shoulders and instead of an awarness sacrifice, he said ok I will give up every part of myself as a sacrifice. This is done because he knows that life is catch 22. Christ now sorts out this sin by us appearing before him at death. We will try to vindicate our sin but really he wants us to say sorry I understand why and accept the truth of creation. In life we have to accept the gradual knowledge of Christ to direct our lives because we as humans cannot overcome life because we are billions of individual minds within the one mind of life. We are too separated.

AT THIS SAME TIME MR CHUCK, THEY WERE OFFERING THE CHILDREN AS SACRIFICE TO IDOLS, SACRIFICING ALLLL THAT GOD DEEMS AS GOD' OWN CREATION, LIFES, THUS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER GOD GAVE TO THEM THAT WHICH THEY SLAUGHTER N DRAIN. N PUT TO DEATH, LIFE OF GOD! WHAT GREAT FATHER DOES NOT SEE HIS LIFE THROUGH HIS CHILD? THEE ONLY SACRIFICE THAT MATTERS IS THAT LIFE BE LIVED AS GOD IS LIVING N SO LIFES ARE N LIFE IT'S SELF IS SACRIFICIAL UNTO DEATH YET, GOD' OWN THAT ACCEPTS THEE LIVING SACRIFICE OVER SACRIFICE TO DEATH, DO LIVE FOR EVER AS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER GOD DOES, THE SON OF GOD THEE SACRIFICIAL LAMB CHOSE LIFES. LIVING, AN ACCOMPLISHMENT, NOT A COMPETITION FOR WHO DOES LIVING N DYING BEST, RATHER AN ACCOMPLISHMENT IN, WHO DOES IT FOR GOD THAT LIFE BE LIVED FOR EVER! CHRIST JESUS WON ANYWHOS! REMEMBER THIS, SATAN ADAM IS RULER OF THIS WORLD FOR A LIL BIT MORE N DOES INDEED LOVE THE SACRIFICE TO DEATH (SIN) THUS DOES DECEIVE THAT LIFES FALL INTO HIS DEATH FOR ETERNITY, TRUTH! CHRIST, THEE SACRIFICED ACCOMPLISHED! GOD BLESS LIFE!🌹🌞🔥❤🕊
