I think there is snother level of meaning (implied but not stated) in the laws about the unclean times in women's lives. A woman is not a toy for a man's instant gratification. She needs time to heal, to recover. God provides this in these seasons He calls unclean.

Just for those who, like me, found this poetry impacting, here’s a copy: “Bold infidelity; turn pale and die. Beneath this stone four sleeping infants lie; Say, are they lost or saved? If death’s by sin they sinned for they are here, If Heaven’s by works, in Heaven they can’t appear, Reason, ah, how depraved! Turn to the Bible’s sacred page, the knot’s untied. They died, for Adam sinned; They live, for Jesus died.” Epitaph on a tombstone over four children, in St. Andrews Church Yard, Scotland

Our Father gave us HIS SON so we could be forgiven. Because of Jesus, God can look at us thru the blood of Jesus, as loved children. Hate the sin, LOVE the sinner. Jesus is more than a sacrifice HE IS LIFE. We NEED God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit shows us how we should live. To love God with all of your heart is what makes our lives bearable, and joyful and to love God means we try to live within His commandments. Thank you K House for opening these truths to so many.

I'm so glad that the Lord answered my prayer leading me to Chuck's lessons. one question on "no offering was ever made for Jesus or by Jesus " though. Could we considered Jesus offered himself as a living sacrifice? A more excellent and pure, unblemished one ?

🤔 Very "Barean" of you. Not at all disagreeing. I suspect Chuck was referring to animal sacrifice on Jesus' behalf at His birth. He mentions that "they resorted to the special provision for people who are poor." Leviticus 5:11 (KJV 1900): 11 But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering. Just a guess though.

Papyrus Ebers - that was mentioned in nursing school. However splinters are better drawn out with grated raw potato! I'd still like to know how they went to the bathroom while in the wilderness.

@@kleineroteHex This might help you: Deuteronomy 23:12-14 “You shall have a place outside the camp, and you shall go out to it. And you shall have a trowel with your tools, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig a hole with it and turn back and cover up your excrement. Because the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy, so that he may not see anything indecent among you and turn away from you.

@@kymdickman8910 thanks! Explains a lot! I'm always curious how simple mundane things were done - out there in the wilderness but also once people lived in cities. Did they have "outhouses" in Jerusalem? How was sewage treated?.... I suppose tribal people in Africa do it some what the same way today.

@@kleineroteHex No worries! I recently came across some archeological reports about toilets in ancient Jerusalem. There were what we call “long drop” toilets in Australia …composting toilets. These had wooden seats - a discreetly smoothed hole, large enough to sit on comfortably - carved into a large plank set on a stone platform above the hole.

The same one that said, "Be ye holy for I am holy." said, "Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect." Indeed, if you believe that Jesus is YHVH and died and resurrected then you are being made into the image of the Son who has never eaten pig and will never eat pig. Who wore strings on His four cornered garment. Who stood if a gray haired person entered His presence. Etc. If you find that you aren't eventually doing the Law of Moses more and more in your life, then you are not being made into the perfect image of the Son of the Creator. Period.

I really wish that people would read acts in context to see that Peters vision wasn't about animals... Whosoever teaches men to break the least of these shall be called least in the Kingdom of heaven..

EXACTLY !!! The comment of the NT concerning clean and unclean was NOT ABOUT FOOD. The context SPECIFICALLY shows that it was in regard of Jews/vs/Gentiles. After the vision of Acts 10:11-15, Peter is sent to meet a Roman Centurion and the proof is in the pudding at Acts 10: 28. FOOD RESTRICTIONS WERE NEVER LIFTED. It is a WRONG INTERPRETATION/ASSUMPTION that can be easily discarded. Except if you want to come before the Judgment Throne and be told: I never knew you...

100% Agree Acts 10 literally rehearses the vision with clarity on its meaning. Vision wasn’t about food it was about people to teach Peter a lesson on prejudice. I pray that people enjoy chucks commentary but do their own investigation as he states about the bareans

We should ALL have a LEGALISTIC mind. Yah put LAWS and COMMANDMENTS in place to follow. Following what please Yah is a light burden and should make us happy to do what He is asking us. Sacrificing ham sandwich or lobster are small things compare to Yeshuah's sacrifice.

Acts 10 is a reference to gentiles becoming clean not the food. God doesn't change His mind. The cross changes us, not God. Great teaching though!

Hi. God bless in Jesus name. Around the 12 min mark. Should Gentiles keep the Torah of Deuteronomy chapter 11? Well if you look at the correlation of Acts 10 and 11, Peter was told to go to the Italian Gentile, unclean in PETERS eyes. So the Lord says "kill and eat" and Peter still AFTER Jesus Christ life, death, and resurrection says Acts 10:14 "NOT SO LORD, I HAVE NEVER eaten anything common or unclean?"""" PROVING that AFTER JESUS RESURRECTION PETER still would not eat unclean and JESUS NEVER DID EITHER. The Gentiles are no different from Jewish Christians vs Gentile Christian. Subjective obviously. Revelation 22:14, Romans 3:31, 1 John 5:3?

Love & miss Chuck, but boy did he fumble the football on Acts 10... That vision was regarding Peoples, not food. Acts 10:28 clarifies it clearly, Gentiles were to be accepted. Unclean food REMAINED unclean. Yeshua won’t be eating shrimp 🍤 & bacon 🥓 at the Wedding Feast 🤣

You must be talking about the total depravity of man in this video that Chuck stated. Well that's for sure true and you can claim that without being a calvinist and if it isn't true then Christ would not have had to come and die and rise again. The thing calvinist get wrong with that truth is they think because man is totally deprived that they can't choose to act in faith unless God grants them to have been elected. Bullocks to that. God has called all mankind to repentance and it's up to us to choose our chosen place. Chuck was about being an overcomrer as Christ would have us to be according to his seven letters to the seven churches in revelation chapters two and three.
