Dr. Tara Swart Bieber is a Ph.D neuroscientist and former MD who has worked to examine the many intricacies of the human brain. She is a professor at MIT Sloan, and also an executive advisor, who has improved the minds and behaviors of some of the world’s top business people.
She is a best-selling and award winning author, and in her book, ‘The Source’, she has shown the world how the brain can be used to manifest your best life. Tying all these endeavors together is her passion for neuroplasticity: the idea that the human brain-and the behaviors stemming from it-can be molded in a way that boosts a person’s ideal version of what they desire to become.
-
If you’re ready to learn how to use neuroplasticity to turn negativity into positive outcomes, how the science behind the law of attraction works, the importance of mentally rehearsing what you want and more, then this episode is for you! And now, let’s jump into Episode 1,325 of The School of Greatness.

I lived in the Projects coming up as a child. I was demean and people didn’t want to associate themselves with someone who came form a lower income poverty stricken area. The manifestation of my behavior came from being locked in the closet as a child. I knew I may be locked in the closet but I would never put a lock on my mind. The word Project gave me so much strength. Life is a Project. I have continued the Project moving forward with new technology and with Social Media. In that locked closet my imagination flourished. I saw through my mind eyes. I was never alone and my brain took me to many places beyond that closet. Neuroplasticity-Emotional survival 💕

It is an honor an a pleasure to be in this moment and time. Childhood trauma can reek havoc on the mind. It bring generational trauma to the physical body. Whatever I endured could be passed down to my children in conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and the list goes on. I learn at a very young age through all my suffering I wanted to break the pattern of torment. I never wanted my children to endure the isolation I had endured or become medically or social/emotionally ill. It has been a remarkable journey. I learned so much through all the hurt pain. It has been an Educational Moment. It made me better not bitter. I also learn in my battle with breast cancer, “Anyone or Anything that eat at you is a cancer” You learn to eradicate the problem and move on. Surviving oneself is a much greater battle than cancer. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Linda Ballard 911 Health.

1:15:47 to this, I’d like to add don’t just be grateful. Be authentically EXCITED. Like, don’t just imagine receiving this thing and how great that would be, but also how insanely excited you will be when your manifestation plops onto your lap (so to speak) out of the blue like the miracle it is. If your manifestation is even half as impossible as mine was then you will lose your friggin mind when it shows up. You’ll scream and cry and feel so overwhelmed with pure AWE that it makes gratitude pale in comparison. When you start to mindfully manifest and receive for real, write it down. Keep a journal of your gifts received and read it regularly so that when you inevitably fall back into the illusion of 3D, you have a good tool to remind yourself that metaphysics is what governs our reality- not the physical. Happy manifesting ❤

I believe this. My parents are both shorter than 5’7” and my brother would always say “I’m going to be 6’7 inches I’m older.” He is 6’2” and the tallest person in our family. I’m sure genetics have something to do with it but I also believe his thoughts, his speech and belief impacted it.

I have been doing vision boards since reading The Secret, nearly 14 years ago. I would say I’ve manifested about 80%. An action board, though? Oh, this is a game changer! Also, the doctor just inspired me to take two actions: 1) Create a MANIFESTED board to complement my action board. 2) Go purchase her book, immediately. 😊 Absolutely fascinating, enlightening, and inspiring interview. How Vision Board is different than Action Board?
@Mrs.FearEstate
@Mrs.FearEstate 10 ай бұрын
@@abcdefgh97054 my thoughts: they are the same thing, but calling it a “vision” board tells your mind you only have to visualize it to manifest it. An “action” board tells your mind that you must take action to manifest the things you place on the board. For example, if you want more friends, you can’t just stay home and visualize having more friends. You have to take action by going to events and getting out of the house in order to meet new people. Does that make sense?

I came to Spain (from Rumania) when I was 36, learned spanish by myself, and the best example was my 3 years old niece: she was repeating the words she was hearing over and over, out loud, and she was having fun with it, enjoying it, and I was like: "Wow, isn't that fantastic, how little children learn, and without grammar!" , and so I did the same 😉❤️ It also helps to watch videos about things that are interesting for you, audiobooks, and even cartoons are very helpful in the beginning 🥰 Now I love to read books in english and read the same books in spanish too, it's interesting to see the differences in the traduction 😉

I didn't go to med school to come to this point of realization but through trauma and pain and just knowing that I WILL be the best version of myself. All the components of hardship, loss and trauma have definitely had an impact on brain development and I totally agree that what you are fed as a kid has a huge impact on their brain development. It definitely governs decision making later on in life and if they were not fed holistically i.e mentally, physically and emotionally they unfortunately have a slower, more difficult headstart in life. Thank you for sharing, and keep up the good work.

Joe Dispenza said a lot of the same on your interview, but his dialog is more difficult for you as the interviewer. Dr. Tara provides easy examples of how to get past the "Self," specific easy tasks, instead of just go to a workshop. We love you Lewis, you are an amazing inspiration to me, and many. Blessings. She's just human, like all of us. Which also means, all of us can make the most of mind magic. Don't just believe in your vision board. Live it with an action board. When she starts talking about the action board, it’s 120% real and puts it into perfect explanation! These things really do come to life and I am a major believer in the law of attraction with much to speak on how I have used it to change my own life! I am on a mission to introduce people to this technique of writing your goals, carrying them with you, vision boards, it’s all law and we can have it if we follow it!

Michael Reyes , you did have a great experience … what I do believe , for some reasons this materialistic world has a huge interest to push everyone to believe only in matter , and at the same as a huge interest to hide the other side of our fundamental essence : spiritual being … & the law of attraction which could somehow jeopardise this civilisation ….

It’s 100% real. But can I share a secret? The law of assumption (by Neville Goddard) is in my experience a far more efficient way to manifest. The first time I tried it, this happened… I was in a very spiritual place at this time, meaning I had no fear, no doubt, just full trust in the I AM (God/Spirit/Source) and feeling really good. I got a random desire to give mindful manifesting a go, just for fun. I heard something about meditating on the desire right before bed, while sleepy because it embeds it into your subconscious far better than while wide awake and alert. So I decided to manifest $7000. I had been seeing lots of 7’s lately so that was my inspiration. I meditated for about 10 minutes and pictured green 7’s, then $7000, then $7777. I imagined how excited I was to receive this money (in other words, I lived in the end result)! I wrapped up the meditation with gratitude and excitement, and fell asleep pretty fast. The next morning I got up early as usual and checked my stocks. They were up a few thousand! Super cool. I logged off and came back later (I traded regularly so this was normal behavior to check them often). When I logged back in, they were up $7007.07, which was 7.7% of my portfolio at the time (which is a lot!). I of course freaked out! I took a screenshot of it to commemorate my validation. Hours later I got the urge to glance at my prize again, just for fun, so I pulled up the photo, and that’s when I saw it. I took the screenshot at 7:07am. AND if you add all those 7’s up, you get 7 of them :) Then… if that wasn’t amazing enough, I wanted to give it another go, but something more sentimental this time. Mid day, I literally just said out loud- “I want to see a monarch butterfly when I leave the house tomorrow!. And so it is.” Monarchs are sentimental to me and I rarely see them. Then I went on about my night, paying it no mind. The next morning came and I rushed off to work, half awake, with coffee in hand. I walked out past my front gate focused on the day ahead of me. That’s when a monarch butterfly fluttered about 5 feet in front of my face. I had forgotten my request until the butterfly swiftly reminded me of it. Best 2 days of my life, back to back. I went from a believer to a knower in the Law. Both times I was desiring these things without being attached to them (so much so that I actually kinda forgot about my requests). It’s when we aren’t looking that they sneak up on us the quickest (because there’s no resistance/doubt). Granted I checked my stocks but it was something I did every single day, throughout the day. I wasn’t checking to see if my manifestation worked. The Law of assumption is the same thing as the Law of attraction, but it uses different, more powerful and efficient methods to attract the thing we want. Live in the end, FEEL the excitement (like- really, not just pretend, and then LET GO) :)

To Lewis and anyone who wants to learn a new language similar to him, I'd like to offer some insight. I grew up trilingual, yes I was lucky that way, but I did grow up the first 10 years speaking my mothertongue and then learned the other two languages simultaneously. Now as an adult I use any of these three without having to translate in my head. I did however also learn other two languages, which I never managed to speak as fluently. The difference between one group and the other, is in my opinion not as much the age but the amount of immersion into the languages. Using a sports analogy as an example, if you wanted to run a marathon, you probably wouldnt prepare by going running for a few miles only twice a week, you'd practice and practice as much as possible. So Lewis, even though taking classes and practicing with your GF is all great, taking a vacation to Mexico, also great to practice, but I need to tell you. I think the best way for you to really learn is to actually dive more into the spanish speaking culture, and do it in a way that you already know your brain will appreciate, for example join an all hispanic sports team.. they love soccer, so join in and play soccer with them several times a week and then hang out. That way you will truly start learning and youll probably be having so much fun. Also, tell your brain cells that they're just as elastic as the ones of a 3 year old and learning is incredibly easy. Now, just as a sidenote, I grew up in spain and have now lived in Mexico for almost 10 years. Speaking like a native Mexican is not equal to speaking good spanish, I do not mean this as an insult by any means, I love this country and the culture and the humans here. But Mexican spanish is an extremely slang proned language and it's very different from the Spanish spoken for example in Spain. But it's very fun to explore the culture that is enrooted in this slang, which is a very enriching experience in itself. Good Luck and Enjoy!!!

However Dr. Swarts interview backed it up with science and the way my thoguhts are i need to research and have more than just a singular way of viewing a subject. I believe my brain needed this as the final key to really dive into this. there was something holding me back and I am a man of scholar, so i needed to hear this. Very fascinating information! Thank you for making this knowledge available...I have had problems with my skin pretty extensively for about 5-6 years now... And I have had this gut feeling that it has been directly related to stress. The last 7 years have been very hard for me. To be honest, living primarily in a state of survival and flight or fight. I've spent the better part of the last year and a half trying to heal. I'm very much into holistic health and natural healing. I believe all illness is a direct result of emotional disturbance or an energetic disturbance. I've been seeking out as much knowledge as I can on these subjects... In hopes to heal myself and maybe someday heal others. I love this channel.. Thank you both for your work and your genuine drive to help others! ☺️❤️🌻

I've had a vision board for a while but I realize it's more of an action board. When I'm facing something I need to do that my brain is thinking can be difficult, I see the word EASY PEASY and when I see it, it calms me and I say "I've got this". Same with all the words on my board, they jump out at me no matter where I am. It is hung on my wall by my front door. It in powers the way of being and responding to what is handed on my path everday

Lewis, there is one thing I can say about speaking Spanish even poor Spanish when you are in countries with that as a main language. The natives of those cultures appreciate that someone is even trying to speak their language. The other thing is they are thrilled when someone even tries. Most duo language cultures are adapted towards being able to acutely translate what is chopped up as one is learning the language...let them have their laugh, they are not laughing with you, they are laughing at you, but let that be ok...they love you anyway.

Since i am not afraid of trying, there are no language i won't love to learn. My mum, on the other hand, cannot tolerate what she sees as being laughed at so can still only speak the language she was born with. Not even English! To each his own! ❤️🔥🌹

Lewis, about how you questioned your intelligence when you had trouble remembering something: 30 years ago a university professor told me that we remember something for 2 REASONS ONLY: it's either novel or important. I have tested this literally thousands of times. And it's certifiably correct. Always. Unwavering. Try it, over and over: question yourself about how you remember things. Isn't that amazing?

I dated a very famous musician. The morning after a concert the night before he called me and as we were talking I asked him how late his concert lasted. He told me they had finally shut down in the early morning only four hours before. He did not do drugs. He liked wine, a glass, but that was it. He was a singer so he had to be careful. I asked him. “I’m so sorry, you must be exhausted!” I’ll never forget his reply…. “Well, I wasn’t until you reminded me!” He was laughing but he really had a point. He got through these concerts by believing in himself and his energy and faith that he could. They are still touring. And although decades older, still have the energy of a 30 year old !

Being Grateful as if what you desired has already happened is not "a new thing", it is the foundation of so many spiritual teachers manifesting teachings including Dr Joe Dispenza etc. I hope Dr Swart has connected with Dr Joe and the team of incredible scientists he is working with and the ground breaking research they are doing. : ) Great interview.
