You are absolutely right about the use of A for a rotation axis parallel to X and a B for one parallel to Y. Unfortunately many machine manufacturers do not follow this standard and use A also for an axis parallel to Y. So when we use B that would confuse many other users. In DeskProto V7 you can select both options, in the Advance machine settings.

@@Deskproto its not about deskproto, coz i did toolpaths, its about mach3 and rotary: when i said stops is in gcode screen no scroll down , left side of mach 3 window, but machine (rotary, and Y) continue cutting, thta's what i meanand in middle of mach 3 screen, movement of axis continue working, showing A,Y axis movement, but crazy. thx my friend x reply.What i can do to fix it ?

Hi Lowrider, We try to serve all users, so we need both simple videos and also videos that show the more complicated options (that you just can ignore when you do not need them). For you it will be easiest to start using one of the Wizards that DeskProto offers. These will guide you making the basic settings and simply ignore the rest (as all complicated parameters have a suitable default value). Enjoy working with your new machine !

In the machine definition of your machine (Options > Library of machines) you can check an option that the rotation axis is parallel to Y. Press the Help button on that page for more information.

The best way for you to deal with this would be to email us and ask for support. We then can help you solve this problem and swap X and Y in the postprocessor. This trick already has been applied by many clients.
