And build in Japan!!! That said, what a good looking car, and superb interior. Fit and finish, materials, looks like a downsized RX or LS..... . Very good work from Lexus.

For me,the design hits the sweet spot, between Cupra crazy, and VW bland. If the quality is as expected from a Lexus, a winner.

A few correction for interested people, the boot space is 402L. The AWD is 315L. The cool version (in this video) does has ambient lightning.

As much as I fancy a Lexus the 1.5 engine puts me off compared to the new CHR 2.0 and likely both will be similarly priced so it’s the Toyota for me and will be available with a sunroof hooray!! 🎉

Having seen a picture of the new C-HR sunroof in the dealer booklet it looks odd, I'd wait until December as your local dealer should have a 1.8 Design including optional panoramic roof delivered for a demonstrator.

Thanks. Maybe will grow on me but at the moment I do prefer the Yaris cross for both interior and exterior. Fully spec YX for me is the better deal.

A bit disappointed that no reviewer has mentioned whether Lexus have addressed the light ‘tinnyness’ and flex of the door panels that the Yaris Cross has. I presume with it being a Lexus they will feel heavier and more premium but there’s no real mention of this in any reviews.

Yeah think it’s just called something slightly different in other markets but it’s the only dark grey colour on the palette that I can see. Looks well in it!

The LBX is smaller than the UX (Rav4) as its a Yaris with bells and whistles and a lot more £££s.

I love it. The german cars at this size range are overpriced money pits, the Tesla Model 3 is too large for European city driving, and every other brand does not look as premium as this by a long shot.

This car is not just a thickly dressed Yaris Cross. In fact, the wheelbase and tread width have been changed. It will be of a quality worthy of Lexus in every respect, including quietness, driving performance, and equipment.

Mark, forgive me but as you 'hint' it is a Yaris X in 'drag'! Honestly, its another 'badge' job. Surely late to the party? Did someone mention Audi A1 [Polo], Audi Q2, T-Cross. And so on and so on. All brands share 'underpinnings' and more.... As you say, Lexus are 'targeting' the 'rich' retirees on there golden lock pensions. Lifestyle and down to Waitrose! Unbelievable. Cynical and simply sticking a big price tag on what is essentially a lifestyle' choice. Sunday supplement car!

Unusable rear space. Get a yaris cross or even any kind of hatchback and save yourself a ruck load of cash. Get a new civic even better. Like lexus but this isn't doing it

Too small and cramped for the money,don’t like it. Better getting an Audi q4 e tron because it’ll be around the same price I think.. it’ll be more than 40k
