I genuinely feel for Steve at this point. His career is literally putting years on his life.

Even as a blackhawks fan I come here after every game, not to enjoy to see someone hurting with his team. But to see true passion, winning or losing. Never seen anyone who brings it all like Steve.

The current bottom 3 teams in the NHL are San Jose, Anaheim, and Arizona. All three teams have a win against the Leafs so far this season. Perfect summary of the season really

I don’t think most people who come to the videos after a loss actually come here to see you upset. I think a lot of them come here for answers, and to know that their feelings of anger are not just theirs. You are THE Leafs fan. It sucks being a leafs fan because we care so much. I want this team to win (behind my favourite team Vancouver, yes my life is agony), and I don’t know what they need. I guess that’s up to Dubis or maybe even above him, let’s hope whoever they are, they make the right decision this time.

I’m getting Ptsd from the mid 2000 Caps teams. This reminds me so much of the last days of Bruce Boudreau led Caps. He was the all time leading point percentage coach in caps history when he got fired, and still one of the top on the NHL. Good luck to the Leafs on how they traverse it.

I recently moved from Toronto to Vancouver, and these videos feel like I'm still connecting with Toronto. Which I'm so grateful for! It's suddenly exciting to think that we could have the likes of Marner and Nylander and Kerfoot and Reilly available. Kings fan here. I appreciate your love for the Leafs. I watch all your videos because you speak with passion and honesty... but the loss videos, like this one, are passion filled and truthful. I hope one day that the Leafs turn it around and win a cup, I honestly didn't feel the Kings would, until 2012, but again, I joke they do it and as long as you make videos, I will watch.

I had had enough of my St. Louis Blues in the early Winter of 2018. I stopped watching the games, something you haven't done despite how much harder it has to be to follow this group of players. They brought me back after their run in January, but I know your pain, and I want you to have that joy that I had at the end of the 2018 season. That's why I watch. Oilers Fan here...I really feel with you...similarity between Oilers and Leafs: Lots if talent and a core that is still young Difference: last three games Oilers core in the intermission called themselves out and discussed what needs to change...won all those games...it took them a while to figure it out that only themselves can change...neither a new coach nor a new dman, goalie or winger... this Leafs core has to learn the same...and after that they will take over...I hope you still will be here when it happens!

Steve, I just want to say some of my favorite videos from last season were win videos! I like the loss ones, too, to be fair. But both! Hence why I am subscribed! I'm a Ducks fan and I love watching the ones against the Ducks just 'cause you get to talk about my team :) and even wore some SDPN merch last night! But this is rough...you are absolutely right about how bad the Ducks are...and that this game, especially followed by SO MANY days off this week...might be it for something to happen.

I watch these videos and interchange the Penguins players that are not playing the way they should with the passion of Steve. Had a chance to have changes to the team and yet we have the same core and many more years of it.

When you are passionate about your team and you don't see the same passion from them, it is heartbreaking. All we can do is stick with them and hope that they see the light. My husband is an Avalanche fan and I at least got to see him have some enjoyment last season and celebrate with him. That's what true sports fan do. I'm hoping my day will come too. :(

Steve, we all love you and identify with your struggle because it’s good to express true feelings, especially negative ones. It’s cathartic to acknowledge them, release them and be able to move on. I think what’s affecting this team, and mainly the core players (but everyone, really), is unacknowledged pressure, stress and fear. They KNOW this is the year that they have to do it. They KNOW last year was SO CLOSE. But their talking points are all “ we’ve got a lot of talent here” and “ there’s a good vibe in the room”, etc. They need to acknowledge their fears to each other in order to bond and to grow as human beings and athletes. Time for the talented kids to become talented men and to learn to lead.

Y'know, I'll say this... year after year watching the classic "Leafs Choke" occur, there's a certain masochistic comfort to be gleaned from its reliability. Universal order intact. You sound like me with my favorite college team, Mizzou. They constantly amaze me with ways to lose and I have been pushed to the brink to say, screw it, I am finding a new team to watch. But I can't. The highs will never be as high and the lows will never be as low. I am a Mizzou fan, for better or for worse, to the end of time. So I am unfortunately finding myself saying often, "I hate you, Mizzou. See you all Saturday." Easier said than done, but hang in there.
