I live in Boston and even I know the Leafs should have SPANKED the Bruins from game 5 on. I paid money to watch the Bums In Blue beat the B's. I will say Keefe's coaching game 5 on was amazing. The team let him down.

It had to happen, but at the same time, it's not only his fault. Management is a problem, constantly running it back with the same crap. And the players of course. It's a mess, it has been for years. I used to get fired up about it but now it's just a joke, we all know nothing will change unless someone from the core is gone. I'd be asking Marner to go. Nylander is the only one who shows up in the playoffs. Reilly can go too.

Sad to see Keefe go good luck to him. No coach will get the current Leafs roster to the Cup. This team is too cap stacked with 4 players creating a situation where they can't afford a competitive goalie or defensemen. No coach will be successful under those circumstances.

Keefe will get a head coaching job on another NHL team who will then return to kick a new lacklustre Leafs team’s butt yet again. Paul Maurice anyone?

The Leafs should be looking at Gardiner MacDougall. Maybe not as the head coach right away (he doesn't have any NHL experience), but he knows how to win. Just led UNB to a perfect season (43-0 including exhibition games), won the U-18 World Championship going 7-0, and won the Memorial Cup with the Sea Dogs in '22, just to name a few of his accomplishments.

Bruce was just hired last season as a senior advisor to Niagara. He’s not heavily involved, his son Ben also just took over as head coach. So he theoretically could take on a role with the Leafs in some way and keep the advisor role, I would think.

These players act like if they lost the cup final every year fans would still be asking for their heads, you guys dont win anything. They make it to the 2nd round once and show everyone in the world they dont belong im the 2nd round. Marners more than just the odd man out hes a problem in playoffs
