Morgan deserves much better than this team tbh. Been here his entire career, has almost never had a good partner on D (other than Schenn + 1 yr of Brodie), yet plays consistent and TOOK A TEAM FRIENDLY DEAL

keefe is the most winningest coach of all time. of all time. better than scotty bowman, better than all. except thats regular season stuff. fact is, keefe isn't a great coach. he wins because the team he has. keefe cannot adapt midway through the game. if something isn't working, he keeps trying to force that square peg into the round hole over and over, failing, over and over (see their powerplay and how they enter the zone, or lack there of). keefe is terrible with line matchups and constantly gets outcoached. this is nothing new, but if keefe hasn't been changed yet i doubt he will..............unless the leafs don't even make the playoffs i guess.

I could've told you that Bertuzzi, the guy walking off of the biggest collapse in NHL history, the guy with 8 goals last season was going to be garbage. I could've told you that Ryan Reaves no longer has any place in the NHL and was going to weigh the team down. I could've told you that Klingberg was going to be garbage too. That's a lot of money going towards useless guys. And they are not the typical dumpster diving cheap contract guys. Bertuzzi is making 5 million dollars. Insane

As an Avs fan I feel your pain about the officiating. I can’t imagine that every team in the nhl knows they’ve been screwed by it at points all season. That’s the only bright side that maybe it evens out. MLB umps are LOVING the NHL for making them look good right now.

Bad officiating is something EVERY team is a victim of. So since we all suffer, we can't sit here an complain. The difference between Colorado and Toronto is that Colorado refuses to let the refs be the reason they lose 2 points. They fight back and are so determined to overcome any bad calls.

I do wonder how the rest of the players feel, 2-4 million dollar players, about the elite 4. By giving those top 4 so much you may have created an unspoken of divide in the locker room. The elite may also be too secure by being taken care of so well, no need to play D or do anything more than the minimal effort.

One OBVIOUS positive from that game? Morgan Reilly’s amazing single-handed Bobby Orr-like goal. That was highlight reel material. Also, one thing you forgot to consider in your very strong condemnation of the team was the fact that the team was on the second half of a back to back schedule WITH travel. Just a thought.

As a neutral observer, it seemed weird that Toronto would extend Nylander because their 'Core Four' just isn't working, and hasn't worked since they tried it. The Leafs have a good offense, average defense, and bad goaltending. There is no GM in the league who should look at that and think it's acceptable.

I think Jones played really great! He read the puck lines and stopped a couple for sure goals. The first 3 shots that got by him were bounces or deflections and were basically no chance. The 4th he should have had, tho. Overall solid. But for a LEAF GOALIE you HAVE to STAND ON YOUR HEAD 24/7 like Woll always has to do 40+ saves to get a win.

Thank you to Producer Drew for putting these videos together, and thank you to Steve for having the energy to do these videos. I watch both the wins and losses reactions - I love the dedication even when things go awry. Steve is just a really funny but also really passionate dude, give the man his flowers! Also, unrelated to the Leafs, I love the various WWE references! As a WWE fan myself, I cannot get enough of the references and nods to the promotion. That HBK one in this video? Absolutely amazing, I nearly died laughing!

i am a leafs fan who rarely gets upset during a bunch of bad leafs games i felt like whatever those games are going to happen and i didn't feel upset in any of those games but this is the game that really made me upset

Now just needs nichuskin, lehkonen, byram, wood back in the lineup..... and if we talking meeting in playoffs maybe landeskog.... and whoever else they add with the 5 mill cap space....think i know who i would put money on

At this point id keep Landeskog out till next season as thats gonna screw up the chemestry as he hasnt played since the cup run. The rest of them tho would have made this even uglier then it was. Tho will also say i miss Kuemper too

This is, what, the 5th or 6th time this season that the Leafs played a game that has gotten Steve completely riled up? I think this season's going to get a lot worse. I don't think this is a good team.

Not since Treveling got rid of the good players that made this team work. These new guys.. Minus Bertuzzi... Domi.. And Greaves.... are useless. Treveling is bringing this team to the bottom. Fire Shanahan, Treveling and Keefe.

Thanks, Steve, you expressed exactly how I feel. I have never been so angry, disappointed, and bitter about this team. To cap it off, I watched it at a friend’s house in Denver who is an Avs fan. Pain.

I agree with Steve that the league isn't biased in favour of the Leafs, but if what we have now is a Canadian media trying not to overdo the Leafs coverage, i shudder to think how much worse it would be if they gave in to their bias to cover even more Leafs.

This organization is clueless, doubling down on this idiocy of paying 4 forwards what is it 45 million dollars and all 4 get nothing tonight, nothing! , sticking with Keefe, none of this is working, and I say this of 7 plus seasons.
