When my teenage daughters were acting a fool. I would sing that line from this song to them. Why don’t you take a look at yourself and describe what you see? Baby baby baby do ya like it? They would get so mad at me. Because they know mom’s always right!

It's almost too good to understand how difficult it is. It sounds fairly straightforward until you start hearing about all the super talented drummers that really struggle to play it.

Jones plays the organ, the harpsichord, and many guitar parts, the bass included. He is the most accomplished had the most diverse talents of all the musicians in the band.

He doesnt play ANY guitar parts, save mandolin perhaps on songs like Going to California-and that MAY have only been Live. Not sure on that part.

Led Zep is known for using a ton of tracks in the studio- so yeah they could be layering vocals and instruments. Doesn’t bother me because they rock it live too.

He dudes himself, Bonzo and Page would chime in from time to time! But not much! The tea is a cannabis reference! 😎👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 They are the original Super Band! The GOATS! JPJ plays everything. In concert he plays the bass line, while playing the keys. He uses the keyboards foot pedals!

Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were both well known and successful studio session players before they got together and formed Led Zeppelin. They might have been the youngest successful session players in England. They met Robert Plant who introduced them to Bonzo and Led Zeppelin was born. No other band had the studio experience that Page and Jones had so they were really revolutionary in the music business. Page produced all the album's and financially backed all their tours. They ended up with their own label, Swan Song.

It's all Jimmy! In the studio he lays down the rhythm and then adds the other layers of guitars on top of them. of course he can't do all that live because he is doing one thing at a time!

“Nobody’s Fault but Mine” has one of my favorite drum tracks and amazing harmonica by Plant. Not enough reactors do that one.

@@shaun374 they played Over the Hills live consistently since 1972. It’s on How the West Was Won and they played it on 1973 tour including MSG and in 1975 and on some tour dates in 1977. Jimmy always did a good job trying to find an arrangement that worked live. They jammed the solo part and many of the lengthened solos were quite excellent

for backup vocala, on studio it's usually Robert, but all 3 have backup vocals. Most conmon is Bonzo, then John Paul, then Jimmy does the least

When this album was released in Nov 1971 I turned 20! Saw Led Zeppelin in 1977 at the Chicago Stadium. Bought my first concert t-shirt there. Concert tshirts weren't a thing until the late 1970's. The Crunge and The Ocean are two of my favorites. Led Zeppelin is still good for whatever ails you.

Led Zeppelin IV is the very first Zeppelin I ever heard, on an 8-Track tape sitting in my brother's brand new '72 El Camino on a Pioneer Tape Deck with JBL Speakers right in the door panels.That's why I've been a Zepp fan since I was 9 years old! It's so hard to pick a favorite song or songs due to the fact there all major hit songs and from each album. These are in the top songs which your viewing today. There's so many other bands as well like ELO, SuperTramp just just a few from this time period too. 70's produced one of the best time for music. Enjoy them all.

In this song Plant I'd doing all vocal overdubs. 90% of the time it is all him. On a handful of songs Bonzo adds a harmony and the other do on just a few too. Bomzo actually has an excellent harmony voice. But most of the time on records it's all Robert.

Led Zeppelin was formed by Jimmy Page 3 weeks before recording the First album 😮 all 4 of them were just Kids! Robert Plant was 19😮😮

Some of my favorites from them right there, I almost subscribed again I wanted to hit that thang. I've seen footage of John Paul Jones paying mandolin he's probably in the mix at times in some of these songs that have an unplugged feel in moments, but I'm sure that 90-95% of the times it's all Jimmy. You rock my brother and have a great ear. Thank you. Hope your shoulder feels better.
