I got this monitor around release date this summer. Hardly any reviews which is strange. The colors, image quality and overall quality of the panel is really really good. Games and movies look really vibrant. Can definitely recommend especially for the price.

@@wydrobin Yeah you have definately some ips glow which makes it a little greyish. For me its dark enough though.

Try this. Best one for me. Gamer 1. Adaptive sync - extended. Black stabilizer 60. Response time normal. Brightness 100. Contrast 72. Sharpness 60. Gamma mode 3. Color temp custom. Smart energy saving off.

I'm actually trying to choose between the Dell 27 inch you mentioned you had and the updated 200hz version of this LG Ultragear they're both around the same price. I really actually wanted the Dell 27 inch curved one because that has a VA panel which I like for their good contrasts because I play a lot of dark games so would like good blacks. That one is £50 more expensive right now though so idk if I should pick up the IPS Dell that you had or this Ultragear (200hz updated version). How are the blacks when you're playing games at night and dark games etc, and watching movies? Is it noticeable? Sorry for all the questions, it's just hard to choose monitors without actually seeing them in person first!

@@Jayy_R2 hello i would like to ask a question, i am struggling to find the height of the stand (just the stand, not the height of the monitor with the stand on). I just wanna know cause i have a weird desk, it has an open space at the start but then as you move deeper into the desk it is closed from the top by 2 drawers and there is about 30 cm of height available and i would really like to know if the stand fits in there, cause if it doesnt, then I would have to move the stand outwards moviing the monitor too close to my face making it not worth buying. Sorry for the long comment, i just wanted to explain the predicament im in as well as i could have.

Thanks for this video! This particular model is under reviewed. I've been trying to figure out the VESA mount situation on this monitor. I've seen comments that the mount holes on the monitor are recessed, meaning that the mount itself has to fit exactly inside the recessed space for it to be compatible. Do you have any experience with this? It's genuinely a make-or-break aspect for me (and I imagine other people) so if it has an even somewhat finicky implementation of the VESA 100 standard I'll look elsewhere. Thanks again!

@@lvloneymaker24 What does IPS have to do with matte screens? Its the coating, nothin' to do with the panel itself. Glossy monitors have way better colors and sharpness tho since the coating is greyish and that will distort the colors slightly.

the B is for the color, all LG monitors with that suffix mean color B for black and W for white

Lenovo has 10 bit panel instead of 8 bit, 180 hz instead of 165. It has better HDR and its brighter overall. Both are IPS panels but the LG has better coverage of color space (sRGB, DCI-P3, Adobe RGB) Lenovo supports full res & hz on HDMI tho since it comes with HDMI 2.1 instead of HDMI 2.0 like this LG monitor. The Lenovo also has built in speakers and slightly better Screen-to-Body-Ratio + lower weight. I would go for the Lenovo, but its more expensive but also more recent (at least in my country > Germany).

@@antonsalnikov21 я уже заказал и получил, 2 дня им пользуюсь) мне нравится, приятный монитор. Достаточно яркий и цвета сочные. Для прохождения синглплеерных игр и просмотра фильмов/сериалов/аниме мне такой точно подходит. Глаза не уставали от яркости, но пользовался пару часов. Настроек много, само меню на русском, а джойстиком в меню елозить очень удобно. В общем то мне всегда нравился бренд LG, а видео с впечатлениями помогло с выбором определиться

@@densut3117 ножка нормальная чуть меньше чем на gn серии-та, что с красными вставками и кругом сзади. Мне лично не нравится синие цвета в играх на нём слишком кислотные, а вот красного не хватает. Пока вожусь с разными настройками. Чёрный не плохой. Я думаю, oled будет значительно лучше, но надо бы цены пониже на них

Its the same monitor. There’s no monitor called 27gr75q. There’s only the …_b one.

got this today, very dim monitor, compared to my 350/400 nits 1080 monitors, feels like there's a grey filter on everything that wont allow colours to pop, unfortunate, other wise the monitor was great, no dead pixels, no backlight or ips glow and great colours, just too dim, and i keep the blinds closed.

I've not tried it, but I'd go with this over the EX2510S for Red Dead 2 purely for the higher resolution panel and bigger screen size. EX2510S is a 1080p panel so won't look as clear - looks more geared towards Esports and fast paced games.

@@westonbyrneCan't find any review of it on RTINGS, I've only seen a review of the LG 27GP850 on that website. But that model costs considerably more in my country, and it has a pretty poor contrast ratio, at least when compared to the Gigabyte M27Q. The M27Q is priced closer to this LG moniitor.

That LG model has poor contrast ratio, at least when compared to the M27Q. This LG monitor is priced closer to the M27Q, but i have yet to be able to find an in depth review of it.

Some people report headaches with the LG line of nano IPS panel monitors. Might be a thing to keep in mind and maybe only buy when you can test it. This one is a regular IPS.

@@Geta92this isn’t nanotechnology but the gp850 is nanotechnology and I never suffered from a headache from using the old gl850B so I believe this depends on the person this monitor is insane for the price I’m going buy one soon my aw2524hf just broke but I’m happy it has because it was a replacement and it’s a 500hz monitor overkill for the Xbox series x

You don't need an HDMI 2.1 port unless you're running 4k resolutions with 120Hz. In that case you wouldn't even want this monitor

The monitor's native resolution is 2560×1440p (~2.6K), so yes, it does.

Hey, i am thinking of buying this monitor but my desk is a bit weird, and i would like to know the height of the stand ( just the stand-the thick rod behind the monitor). I have searched to find the height of the stand but I have only found the height of the monitor with the stand and the height of the monitor without the stand but not the height of the stand on its own. Could u measure it and tell me please?

I got this monitor in Latvia, first has green pixel on bottom when dark regions appeared on center, store changed by extended warranty to new one, that also has same issue, but pixel now is less noticeable only on blue color recitable when whole picture is white. This one i did not bring back to store, not distributing me a lot. In test for monitors it is hard to notice this defect, because this defective turns on and off only on transitions between color change. Static picture test is ok. Overall monitor is good, great color, great stand. Buy it with extended warranty only. Playing games you would not notice it at all, working with office apps it is annoying

I had both. Dell much better. Almost no glow (in my case crucial difference), better contrast, brighter.
