it's not easy to assemble / disassemble. Have you seen these panels installed before? there's a tons of mounts and cords that need set up on the wall prior. takes forever and most people would need a pro to do it.

Meanwhile, cinemas are still offering dim digital projection with poor contrast. A current consumer-grade OLED television has a better picture quality than most cinemas have, which says a lot about the state of cinemas. After the pandemic, they _seriously_ need to majorly upgrade their spiel. A giant micro-led screen like this rather than far from perfect current-day digital could actually be the solution for that. Certainly when somewhere in this decade a true 16K-20K digital IMAX camera is made with a sensor equivalent to 15perf70 film. That would be three times bigger than the current ARRI-based digital IMAX camera, which is a 65mm camera with 6,5K resolution. It's a brilliant camera for sure, but we need digital capture to equal the original far bigger analog IMAX format which was used to such great extend in films like The Dark Knight, Dunkirk and Tenet. And then have that displayed on a massive microled screen like the one rendered in the video.
