Got the C2 this past weekend and its my first oled. Everything looks beautiful and the inky blacks look amazing. When i rewatch shows and movies from the past its like im watching a totally different show. I rewatched The Batman and the dark scenes and the bright highlights look amazing. This tv was a worthy purchase and I plan to keep it for a long time!

Bought 7 weeks ago. LG C2 65inch OLED in early Jan 2023. Best tv ever. Perfect for movies & high quality tv series. Works well in a moderately bright room. Coupled with a good surround sound system (5.1 AV receiver) and you don’t get a better experience. I couldn’t be happier.

Really enjoying your content! I just purchased a LG G1 and though I think the picture is terrific from 4K streaming services, PS5, Xbox Series X and even KZfaq, my Spectrum Cable picture is horrible. I had the Samsung Q8F and the cable picture was much better. Should I exchange it for the C2 with the better processor? Would you recommend the Samsung QN90B or S95B for better upscaling? Thanks and keep up the great work!

I just got the 77" C2 as a step up from 75" LED 4k Samsung (that had vertical lines) and it was a solid step up. I'm still in the "constantly tweeking the picture" phase of ownership so I haven't fully settled in yet, but I'm working on it. Oled reminds me of the rich plasma tv's from the olden times.

Thx for the review! You come off sounding a bit apologetic and uncertain in some segments due to them being technical. I don't think you need to tell people to skip ahead and apologize for anything. The great content you've always put out is what got you here. Too much focus on growth is probably counter productive. Stay true to what you are and everything will be great. :) Cause you are awesome!

I decided to go for the 65-inch C2 this year. Was going to get a QD-OLED, but Samsung’s inaccuracies and Sony’s lack of gaming features pushed me to LG for at least another 2-3 years. Then I’ll see where QD-OLEDs are at. Very excited for that tech.

Another stellar review Caleb. And I'm not just talking about the C2. Your reviews from a real world perspective are the best on KZfaq hands down. Vincent over at HDTV Test is the best technical guy but I will watch everything you review as your opinion is point on every time. I'm planning on upgrading my C8 this year as I want to move on from a 65 inch panel into a 77 and this year honestly is the hardest choice yet. I'm really curious about seeing true head to heads with QD Oled tech, but because the size isn't there, yet, it's really down to the C2 and the G2 which I'm curious about when you might be reviewing that panel. The Sony's are beautiful but I really dislike their firmware delays over other brands. Keep up the great work 👍

@@classicgalactica5879 Dolby vision was only ever needed for WOLEDS because they couldn't reach 1000 nit peak brightness and LGs tone mapping wasn't enough to keep to keep their panels from falling off the EOTF curve. Now that QD solves the washed out whites and allows for full luminance translation you don't need DV to account for WOLED shortcomings. The image produced resolves in full color volume without the need of specific color tuning or tone adjustment with the kind of brightness the panel emits, I can personally attest to that after having used it for the last week.

The C1 OLED has an outstanding image quality, and is definitely underrated. The perfect screen uniformity and blacks levels makes it really stand out from most TV’s, at a really affordable price tag. Also, the C1 has around the same brightness than the C2 in SDR, which is the content that most people will watch more often. HDR content looks stunning with vibrant colors, could be little brighter for HDR but you won’t really feel like you need it. The C1 has an incredible value, you can get a 65’ at an affordable price tag, it’s a really gorgeous TV.

Yes, the C1 is a better buy, and in my opinion, it's the better television, picture quality and all. Edit: Do not trust customer reviews, especially the ones that I have seen for the C2 on Google. Most of them are fake, and if you see where they come from, you'll understand. There are plenty of reasons why bots or employees will go onto other websites, and they have. In the end, this sounds like a petty justification for buying another television. A 5-star review and the size of the television/sharpness have nothing to do with each other. Unless it is honestly stated and displayed, I would not trust it.

Long story short, I would like to see a comparison of the G2 vs the C2 to see if it is worth the extra money. I don't like the fact that the Samsung S95B QD-OLED has intentionally inaccurate color mapping to look more saturated, even in filmmaker mode, and that it still puts its own tone mapping over top of HGIG tone mapping in games, which can make some parts of the screen look blown out due to the undefeatable second layer of tone mapping. The Sony A95K QD-OLED likely won't have these problems, and I can live with only having two HDMI 2.1 ports, but the roughly $3000 price tag for a 55" TV is hard to justify. This leaves me with deciding between a 55" LG G2 and a 55" LG C2. Or, if the benefits of the G2 aren't worth the price difference, then saving a bit more money and dropping down to a 48" C2 since my current TV is only a 42" and jumping up to a 55" in the same space seems almost too big.

Could also have something to do with the content they play on the tv's at the store. They are running top quality provided content for sales purposes. It makes tv's that won't look as good at home due to available content and how it is provided.....direct connect (4k player) versus satellite for example, look as good as it can. So to compare them at the store it should be identical content playing at the same time, otherwise it can be misleading. But I don't know what the other tv is you're looking at so it could just be a solid tv at a good price.

LG has no chance against the S95B. QD-OLED is just better. Max Peak is 1500nits on a 1% Window which is crazy bright for an OLED. Color Brightness is also 3 times better than LG. This Year my LG CX gets replaced by the Samsung S95B and I am looking forward to it!

@@zaintariq6364 The NEW QD-OLED Sony A95K will most likely get you the best Picture of all TV's but for a much higher price. Also not sure about gaming Input Lag on the Sony. Samsung S95B is on pair with LG which is fantastic .

Putting in my c2 as we speak. Have this playing on my iPad. Got the 42’ version. It will go to be my 4k gaming monitor when the new pc comes after Xmas. Until then it’s replacing my 2015 Samsung 40" downstairs in the lounge. Looking forward to Xmas tv on the c2

I just had the 83" model hung on my wall to replace a 6 year old Samsung that crapped out on me. I will never purchase another Samsung. I am not going to pretend that I even understand half of what is covered in this video but I can tell you this, I love this TV! It absolutely blows Samsung away. The clarity of viewing angles the depth of the blacks the vibrancy of colors are jaw dropping. I really like the minimal black frame around the edges. For somebody like me who is in his mid 50's its a game changer in viewing experience because your eyes do not get better with age trust me LOL! And this TV is the optimal viewing experience. I don't know enough to say that this is the best out there but its the best for me and the one I got!
