We recently bought a pristine condition (almost brand new, used for 1 month only by first owner) 2nd hand LG LA100EC Dual inverter last December 2020 from fb market.
After almost 4 months of usage, we can finally see why this aircon is so hyped in the market. Here's my full review and consumption discussion about this aircon.

Ito po talaga plan ko buy kasi malaking help dahil online po work ko.. At ung baby ko sarap sleep pag naka ac currently pinahiram muna ako ng reg na ac ng Bro ko Thou may prob hahaha.. Pero sir ask ko lang kasi before 24 hrs almost ko gamiting ung pc ko nasa 700 to max of 900 lang ako then nung nag ka ref ako na lg na ref 8cu eh bigla naging 1300, 1500 then 1800.. (eewan ko now hm ung bill ko if na add ung 5 days na c na D inverter) ung ref ko po na un inverter.. Wala daw prob pero sobrang nakalakihan ako kasi from. 900 to 1800 doble sya bigla wala naman gaano laman ref ko d dn na oopen lagi, di naman nag lalagay mainit sa loob

@@MelanieRelova hi maam, check nyo po location ng ref, need din kasi ng ref mag release ng heat sa environment like ac. I would suggest na ipwesto nyo a malapit sa may bintana. Then make sure din na hindi naka max yung cool mode nyo sa ref. In my opinion supposely normal naman mag increase ng 300-500 php pag nag ref.

@@MelanieRelova tsaka wag lang ref maam ang paghinalaan nyo. check nyo din po yung iba nyong appliance how's your usage during that 1800 php bill. lalo kung natapat ng summer yung 1800 bill nyo i think it's normal naman na pumalo talaga sa gnyang kataas ang bill dahil sa init.

Hi sir naka pwesto po sya sa may bintana di din po naaarawan. D dn po sya naka sagad sa wall. Di din po naka max naka 1 lang po both freezer and fridge (Ung fridge po kung kelan bknaba ng 1 dun lumamig pero nung nasa 5 or 3 sya konti lang lamig) Wala po ako other appliances sir for 3 months ung ref lang po tlaaga nadagdag

I have to disagree sa temperature setting. Once sinet mo sa 27 degrees celcius pag mainit yung panahon. Obviously mas mabilis niya maabot yung temperature na yun kumpara sa lower temp. Hence, mas mabilis mag low speed yung compressor or mag cutoff kapag non-inverter which translates to energy efficiency. Considering na properly sized yung unit para sa space, try mo iset yan ng 22 degrees celcius while 35 degrees celcius yung ambient temperature outside then gumamit ka ng wattage monitor. Makikita mo naka full speed yung compressor. Let's say 1000w then hindi siya pupunta sa lowest speed kasi masyadong mataas yung headload. Baka mag laro lang yan sa 550-700w. Then try mo iset ng 27 lang, mag maintaining speed yan ng around 300+ watts. Be sure to provide correct information. Another point, hindi porket set mo ng mas mababa yung temperature mas mabilis siya lalamig. Pwedeng naka full speed lang yung compressor pero kung hanggang dun lang yung power ng unit mo, same output lang yun kahit iset mo ng 22 deg vs 16 deg. Ang kinaibahan lang tulad nung sinabi ko sa taas, mas mabilis lang siyang mag lowspeed sa 22 vs sa 16.

Kakabili ko lang ng AC LG .85hp naman. Sa 2 days 40hrs siya naka open 23°-27° - F1 cool mode. 6.8kwh consumptions. Non-inverter kasi unang gamit namin. 12-16hrs nakabukas ung bill namin umabot ng 6,400. Kaya nag decide ako mag switch. At itong video na to nagpalakas talaga ng loob kong bumili ng inverter ,💗 Next month ko pa makikita result 🙏 Sana nga po bumaba 🙏 God Bless po 💗 Update after 1month : Nabawasan po ng 1,400 ang bill nmin sa kuryente ❣️ 16-24hrs ginagamit 22°-23°

Hindi ba parang mahina yung lamig ng. 8hp nyo? I purchased a new one parang ang Hina ng buga nya, yung original na nakalagay na ac was. 75hp pero malamig na talaga. Noong pinalitan ng LG parang ang Hina nya.

I bought 2 units 1HP LA100WC and 1 unit 1.5HP split. WC is the first model with WiFi connectivity for LG ThinQ. I've had them for more than 2 years now and never had a problem with them. My Meralco bill never went higher than ₱3.5k. the unit in my room is rarely turned off. If I want to save energy I'd just put it on fan mode. This summer April 2021 though was my highest at ₱4.3k as I now work from home and electricity rate is also up but still stays within my monthly budget of ₱5k compared to my old ACs. This is also the quietest I have owned as the compressor does not just turns on off outrageously but it slowly hums to full capacity.

@@gladioladelim3635 Check your observations. Have you followed proper maintenance schedules for your AC? Depending on use it should be cleaned thoroughly every 4 months by a knowledgeable person. The capacitor should never get wet. Also nakatapat ba ang AC sa matinding init ng araw? This could affect its performance during the day. Lahat naman ng AC however powerful it is will be challenged if it's too hot outside. Also make sure the room has no leakage where cold air could escape or warm air could enter especially on door gaps or thin windows. Direct sunlight through windows while AC is on could post a challenge in an air conditioned room.

Same unit sir. Yung iba akala sa temp. Settings nagging matipid ang AC. Madaming factors, room size, sealed ba room mo at heat loads sa loob ng kwarto. 22-23 temp settings namin. Halos 900php (9.72php/kwh) ang consumption ng unit namin nung month of march. 11-12 hrs a day. Parang mas magging matipid nga kung 1week walang patayan e. Papatayin lang kapag lilinisin filter.

Hi sir. Tanong ko lng mag 2months n ac nmin ganito rin 1hp. Sa thinq last month pag around 12noon to 3pm 0.5 lng nacoconsume per hour pero ngaun pinaka mataas 0.8 kwh bat ganun. Ang laki nman po wla pa nman kmi bill. Ngmomonitor ksi ko ng consumption sa thinq at un nga. Pero oag gabi mdling araw 0.2 kwh. Ang tass nman kung 0.8 kwh sa hapon.

sa totoo lang ay dalawa ang aircon ko sa bahay na ang isa ay LG dual inverter 70% energy savings at ang aking isang aircon na Carrier inverter 40% energy savings at parehong 1hp at parehong branew pero sa 22 hours na pag gamit ko sa kanila araw araw sa 25°c sa araw at 23°c sa gabi sa dalawang aircon ay ang LG aircon ko ay naka 8 kilowatts ako samantalang ang Carrier aircon ko ay naka 6 kilowatts lang at araw araw yun so mas maganda ang Carrier aircon inverter 40% energy savings lang kumpara sa LG dual inverter at 70% energy savings pa. at sa 2 years na pag gamit ko sa kanilang dalawa ay ang LG aircon ko ay nasira na pero ang Carrier ko ay ang ganda pa ng condition kaya! dapat din pala mag research ng mabuti bago bumili ng aircon!

- Gaano po katagal bukas ang lg nyo sa isang araw? - gaano kalaking cubic meters ang pinalalamig ng lg ac compared sa carrier ac - paano nyo sinusukat ang energy consumption? Mahirap po yung ganyang statement maam if wala pong clear evidence. Mahirap din po mag compare ng dalwang ac na hindi same room ang pinalalamig at hindi same location ang pinag installan. Wala naman pong naninira dito sa ibang brand, we're only appreciating itong technology that we have now katulad ng LG at iba pang ac. Maybe mas maganda nga ang carrier than lg, or maybe baligtad. We can't exactly compare the two po.

@@JVtechlife bawat room ko ay may 18 square meter tapos LG ang sa kabila at Carrier din ang sa kabila! sa LG ay 22 hours ang gamit araw araw sa settings na 25°c sa araw at 23°c sa gabi at ganun din sa Carrier 22 hours ang gamit araw araw sa set na 25°c sa araw at 23°c sa gabi at bawat aircon ay nilagyan ko ng kwentador dahil dati itong room for rent kaya nalaman ko kung alin ang pinakamalakas kumain ng kuryente sa loob ng 22 hours sa parehong settings. kaya sa pag gamit ko araw araw ay yan ang resulta! meron din akong main kwentador doon yung pinaka billing ko pag nagbayad ako ng kuryente sa meralco.

Salamat po sa pagshare . Very informative po ang material .napaisip tuloy ako bumili kasi nasa 5.6k ang average bill namin ng kuryente considering na halos pareho lang po tayo ng appliances sa bahay. Question po, ok lang po ba na pagka turn on, Cool Mode or Energy Saving mode agad? Best practice daw kasi na i-fan mode muna ng about 5 minutes bago iswitch sa other mode para di mabigla ung compressor. Thanks in advance po sa sasagot.

Yes this is true. 5 minutes muna na fan mode. Then 30 mins- 1 hr cool mode, then the rest is Energy Saver na (Medium Fan Speed) at your choice of temp.

Nice video sir! I have the same AC unit, LA100EC. Ang napansin ko lang, ang layo nung average consumption na lumalabas sakin per day pag chineck ko sa electric meter namin. For example, sa 12 hour use namin, 3.8kwh ang nakalagay na consumption sa app. Pero pag chineck ko ang metro before ko buksan ang aircon at kinabukasan pagtapos gamitin, nasa 6kwh yung consumption. Ref na inverter lang ang other appliance na tuloy tuloy ang andar sa bahay, yung TV, gaming console, 1 electric fan, led lights, hindi naman ganun kalakas ang gamit. Sa inyo ba sir accurate yung app talaga? Thank you.

sa 100% accuracy ng app, hindi natin mapapatunayan yun, pero close ba sya to being accurate, i think yes po. try to compute yung actual peso bill mo based sa consumption sa energy monitoring po.

Last month nasa 7klwt per day yung average consumption namin.. ngayun ng try ako nka on lng whole day at 22 to 25 temp nya sa 7hrs na open ang aircon nka 5 klwt ako.. mas mahal ata.. 😁😁

Mga complaints ko sa aircon na ito: 1. 7 hours lang ang sleep mode 2. Wala yung auto-clean function sa ThinQ 3. Walang auto-cool function (ito yung big deal eh... set temp, then the fan speed will automatically adjust na lang, kaso wala) 4. The unit doesn't display the ambient temp (unlike Hitachi); you can only see it in ThinQ 5. Eco mode doesn't activate immediately even though set temp has been reached Pero yes, mas matipid sya than our old aircon. We already saw a 1k reduction sa bill namin since using this aircon. (21C cool mode at F3 from 10PM to 9AM, and 23C eco mode at F3 from 2pm to 4pm everday).

Pano po sya i add device a app.. pag press ko kc ung mode at fan speed ng sabay iilaw lng ung wifi once hindi sya blinking.. press ba ung button kapag ung nsa app nkalagay na press mode and fan speed simultaneously or next ko muna before press?

Hi ask ko lang po yung default mode ko po sa AC is energy saving mode everytime na bubuksan ko po yung AC naka energy saving mode agad sya and napapansin ko po kahit na reach na nya ung temp na sinet ko di po sya namamatay. Pero kapag halimbawa po papalitan ko po ng cool mode tapos ibabalik sa energy saving mode dun po sya namamatay kapag na reach na yung temp na sinet ko. Okay lang po ba yung ganon?

pag cool mode ba talaga pong tuloy tuloy ung andar nya? as in walang hintuan? kasi magdamag sa amin eh. Energy saver namamatay pagnareach na tamang lamig. sana masagot

Is it normal na nagttubig yung buong ac? I mean nagmmoist po sya. 16 hrs/day nakaset ng 24° cool mode (1HP) same brand po..thanks sana masagot..

I have no problems with any kind or brand ng ac, ang pinakamain problem ko madalas ay yung mga nakukuha namin maintenance/technicians kuno who for some reason imbes na maayos or malinis ang unit, lalong nagkakaproblema to think that I have them maintained by authorized service centers. Now yung trusted friend, electrician ko na lng pinaglilinis ko, and my ac has never had any problems, going on 6 yrs na.

Cool mode lang kami palagi fan 1 and ang temperature naman po ay around 25-27 degrees.

Hi, pahelp naman po. 2.5hp po yung samin. Okay naman siya madali niya napapalamig yung room, medyo worried lang ako sa consumption. Nakikita ko kasi sa iba below 1kwh lang. Naka set na at 26c yung samin pero hindi bumababa sa 1kwh. Umaabot sa 16kw per day temp: 26c fan speed: low mode: energy saver room size: 33sq 3 lang po kami sa bahay at gabi naman po siya binuksan. sealed po ang room. TV at PC lang gunagana. newly installed lang po siya idk if im doing something wrong. Salamat po.

Sir observe nyo po muna. Mainit po kasi tlaga ngayun kaya ang tendency mag throttle ng mag throttle ang compressor para mapalamig yung room, saka expect nyo rin po na mas mataas ang consumption nyo given that your ac is 2.5hp. But 16kwh ay malaki nga po. Observe nyo po muna sa mga susunod na buwan.
